What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: It's simple. It's small. It's cheap. Quality of image is average, but it's OK if your TV is not very large. When you switch it on, it would resume last action (music or video playing, for example).
Cons: This player is not able to play music in random mode. It's frustrating for me, because I planned to use it mostly as background music player detached from video display. That's why I set low usefulness rating.
Other: Good for you if you need cheapest stand-alone video/picture/music player attached to small or medium sized TV. Presence of USB-host and card reader allows you to change the media quickly. Weakly suitable if you need an audio player for background music in cafe, because random music playing not supported.

Pros: - very small - good packaged (you could use it as a present) - needed cables for RGB are there. - USB works (even external HDD) - easy to use menu - menu in english by default. - finds all data on USB-devices - remote control works great.
Cons: - don't know how to unplug my USB HDD safe. - don't know where to get the digital cables.
Other: - very useful and small (like a small card-reader) would buy it again. Maybe I will buy one or two to use them as a present.

Pros: - Works with USB hard disks very nicely - RCA input great - menus easy to navigate - sound quality is pretty good for the price of the unit
Cons: - Came with US power adapter (not overly a big deal since it was a transformer all I needed to do was get a Australian to US adapter) - By default menus were in Chinese, I don't speak or read it
Other: Great player!, explained what it was to a friend and now he wants me to order him one too! Happily recommend it to someone who is after something like this, instead of paying $100 AUS for a similar product.

Pros: To begin with the package is nice and good quaility plastic makes good first impression if you consider to give it as a gift.Inside there is the player which is tiny but well built .Power adapter slot fits well unlike other more expensive chinese players.Menus are friendly .So far a have tested usb sticks and 1 gb card .works fine with pics and divx /xvid movies that i have tested.Great unit.Remote control is small
Cons: the only drawback i could think is that there is no button on the device so if remote control is dead the device is inoperable .
Other: Probably will buy another one as a gift. But for 27 $ is the best i have tried .really honest deal since i have tested western digital hd minitv player bought for 90 euro and i dont see any difference in performance .

Pros: works just fine. Most of the formats work.
I connected my seagate 1tb hard disk. It works perfectly well with it.
Cons: navigation can be a tad difficult when playing music files. It can be cumbersome as the song stops if you go back to the root folder.
Another feature (maybe I haven't found it yet)missing is 'go back one level'. Like say to go from c:/music/pinkfloyd/animals to c:\music\pinkfloyd is not possible. It goes directly to c:\music.
Other: If you're tired of watching stuff on your laptop and have a tv handy, you should totally get this. Since it's on tv, you'll end up watching a lot more movies and sitcoms. I connected the audio inputs (red and white) to my 2.1 creative computer speakers and it's made my room into a movie theater.

Pros: Very cheap unit plays all video formats. Reasonably easy to use. Menus are pretty intuitive, and letters are large. Unit is tiny. Black casing does not stand out. You can plug a USB flash drive or USB portable HDD. Switches on quickly. No problems while the remote was working.
Cons: Remote has stopped working after a couple of months use, making the unit useless. There are no buttons on the actual unit. The only way to control it is via the remote. I have replaced the battery in the remote with a fresh battery and it still will not work.
Other: Cheap device plays all video formats. But be warned that the remote can stop after a few months of use.

Pros: * Plays all SD content I throw at it * Great picture quality * Small * Not expensive * Easy to use * 16:9->4:3 zoom modes are nice
Cons: * Power led always on (even in standby) and it's too bright * Long file names are cumbersome to manage (got to wait for them to scroll otherwise they get cut and you can't tell what episode they are and such) Scrolling is also quite slow.
Other: I like it. It's great if you have an older and/or SD-only TV. I don't think I'd choose this if I had an HDTV though.

Pros: Works fine, reads usb hd formated in NTFS, plays AVI (very quickly, allmost no delay), PICURES and mp3 ok. It´s small, the remote works as regular remote, no failure about it yet
Cons: It keep the HD running when it´s powered off from the remote (same with pen drive). Only english and chinesse (no spanish) wich it´s ok to me but no so much to my family.
Other: Allmost just receive it, but there was no surprises. i thinks it´s what i spected

Pros: Plays everything it claims to play. Video and audio quality is good. Nice looking unit. User interface is reasonably good. Supports RGB and composite out. Excellent little remote.
Cons: Comes in PAL mode by default, was briefly confused before realizing I had to hit the button on the upper right of the remote to change to NTSC.
Other: Sweet little unit. Sure beats having a computer plugged into the TV all the time.
