  • Much better than I expected...

Pros: Compact, stable, multi-angled -> Great value.

Cons: Not really anything. The body is plastic but, it's still very sturdy & not the cheap plastic that you feel will snap on you if you so much breathe on it.

Other: This tripod is great for travel + it's really good for when you want to take CLOSE-UP macro shots (That's just not possible with my full sized tripod) However, I wouldn't use this with my DSLR though (that's too much weight for this lil guy.)

  • Very sturdy and inexpensive

Pros: This tripod is very sturdy and easy to use. It doesn't fall over at all when the camera is attatched to it like my metal tripod and it looks nicer too. The price is very good as well.

Cons: This tripod does not really have any negatives about it. The plastic legs could be a little stronger and I would have liked it to have been a little bit taller.

Other: This is a great buy for the price and it looks cool too. If you are just starting out or are a regular photographer, this tripod does its job well. I highly recommend this tripod and suggest that you give it a try.

Pros: Great build quality Looks neat Nice and secure

Cons: The screw thing to make the camera secure can be a bit difficult to deal with

Other: If you need a small, foldable tripod, then get this. It's as simple as that.

  • A neat little tripod

    posted by EM745 on 05:34:43 G9T 02/09/2007 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Even though it's mostly plastic, build and paint quality are good. Seems sturdy enough to support most compact digital and film cameras (though I wouldn't trust it to hold heavier SLR cameras).

Cons: The rubber used for the leg tips is way too soft, which increases the chance of camera shake when pressing the shutter (using a time delay on the shutter will cure this problem, provided your camera has this feature). The pin holding the three legs together seems pressed on (like a rivet), which means you probably won't be able to tighten it once it loosens--a nut-and-bolt type of arrangement (like the one used for the head) would've been better.

Other: Despite its wobbly feet, this is probably the best value in compact tripods out there.

    Pros: Small, compact, light, cheap

Cons: Build quality is not as good as hoped.

Other: I prefer my 'Mini 4-inch Metal Tripod' (SKU 1309) over this because of the build quality.

  • Excellent Value Tripod

    posted by abx86 on 06:41:22 G1T 04/01/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Very compact. Build quality is surprisingly good I thought. Time will tell though. Perfect for small digital cameras or the WF-602D flashlight which is tripod-mountable (I'm still waiting for that torch to come)

Cons: A little bit too short height-wise.

Other: Excellent value at about £1.70 if you need a small tripod- buy it.
