Pros: Simply easy to use, no fuss. Supports data transfer and charging.
Cons: The micro connector was a little hard to insert the first time but was fine after that, and the black plastic surround is a bit large which shouldn't hinder anything but I had to take my rubber case off first.
Other: Cheap, perfect adaptor.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works well to charge my Kindle. I usually carry around MiniUSB cables since they work with 99% of gadgets (USB harddrives, hubs, GRMS modems, etc.) but I always forget my MicroUSB for the Kindle.
This is perfect. I just attach it to my Mini USB cable with the little tether, and now I have a cable that can do double duty Micro or Mini B.
Cons: A little bit expensive. It should be around $1.50 at most.
Build quality isn't super great, but it works.
Other: Get one if you're always forgetting your Kindle power/sync cable! It will also sync/charge any other Micro USB device you might have (like some Motorola phones)

Pros: I'm not saying you will use this all the time, but it seems things are moving to this micro connector. I have been successful using it on chargers, cords, etc. with the mini plug type way more times than I thought I would have.
Cons: It is a pretty simple and cheap device. Not everyone will have a use for it. No quality issues for me.
Other: If you use usb and have a bunch of USB stuff like I have. This can come in handy as you and others around you upgrade to devices that use micro usb. It just gives your cords another round of usability which is convenient and saves you money.

Pros: It just works, and is not much bigger than the whole mini-USB end of most cables. When connected, it stays in place. I can use existing cables instead of buying new ones, or remove the adapter from the cable as needed.
Cons: The connector locks in a little stiff, so you have to use some force. It may even be a good thing that it doesn't fall out by itself.
Other: It does the task nicely if you want to reuse mini-USB cables for micro-USB devices.

Pros: One small adapter. I attached it to my keychain so I'll have it with me everywhere. Works great with my Milestone and connects easily also with my hard casing.
The main purpose of it is to be able to connect the device to any standard Mini-USB cable that most of the people have at home, near the computer.
Cons: Haven't found any!
Other: If you have a Micro-USB device, any kind of those, get it!

Pros: -Really, really small (images do not do it justice).
-Micro USB will be the new standard for cellphone connectors. This device will presumably allow you to connect and charge all the future cellphones.
-If the standard passes, this device will become a necessity to have.
-Already, it connects/recharge my Plantronics Bluetooth headset.
Cons: -None
Other: -Great price for such a small connector.
-Really, really small.

Pros: Finding adapters at this price is worth it to bring the mini usb cables and chargers back to life. The small size is also a great factor as it adds the least amount to existing cables.
Cons: The micro usb connection is too loose and will not charge or connect properly. Have to hold it firmly with my hands to make it work. Ordered 2 and both the same.
Other: I guess some have a good batch but I also have the Motorola one they sell here and they work fine for me so I'll be ordering more of those. Just that Motorola one's are much longer in size.

Pros: I have a bunch of old Mini-USB cables, but when I upgraded phones and MP3 players I was stuck with some devices that needed Mini and some that needed Micro. This is the perfect solution for me, and I can use this while travelling too because the elastic cord ties around the neck of the Mini-USB cable quite easily and stays very secure. The contact on them is a bit loose, but if I get the connection right and just set it on the desk so it doesn't move it works great. I also ordered SKU 35005 and I can't tell the difference in build quality at all. Both have slightly finicky contacts, but both have a nice rubberized textured outside and a elastic cloth cord for attaching to the end of the Mini-USB cable.
Cons: As I said before, and as other people have mentioned, the contact can be a bit finicky sometimes. At first I thought my Mini USB cables were wearing out, but I tried those on my devices again and had no issues.
Other: They're very useful. Get them if you have a bunch of mini usb cables that have been partially made obsolete by addition of micro usb cables to your gadget collection.

Pros: If you need a micro usb connector and you have lots of mini usb cable to spare, this is the item that you are looking for. Works well for charging my plantronics bluetooth earpiece and my samsung android phone.
Cons: This connector is a bit shaky for its connection. Tried on a couple of different mini usb cable lying around and some does not fit well. But will a little strength it gets connected.
Other: its cheap and better then buying another set of cable to bring around.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small and works.
Adapts easily to my current charges (I tried several and it attached easily to all) and to the smartphone (HTC)
Comes with a small rope to tie to the charger so it wont get lost!
Cons: none.
Other: worth 3$ for sure, small (easy to carry) and saves the need to carry another charger - makes it a most have for anyone who has items using miniUSB and microUSB!
