What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: First and foremost amazing value for money. It focuses the camera with a half press and takes the picture with a full press. I've not tried it much outside yet, but works fine indoors. I've had no trouble with miss fires or not firing at all. The receiver part has an on off switch and two LED's one lights when its focusing and the other lights when its firing the shutter. The transmitter has a single two colour LED, again one for focusing and one for firing. The transmitter has a plastic areal that pulls out of the body.
Cons: The plastic is hella cheap, but for the price you can't complain.
Other: If you want a wireless transmitter for your camera, then this one works a treat.

Pros: Compared to similar units on the market this one is very well priced. Range appears adequate for any uses that I can think of. Supports "bulb" exposures when button is held in longer than 3 seconds (you end the exposure by pressing the button again).
Cons: Uses odd batteries, but are at leas supplied with a set(replacements are cheap here on DX)
Receiver uses a 2.5mm socket and a 2.5mm to N3 connector to connect to your camera, why not include a 2.5mm to 2.5mm cable as well so that it works with all Canon models? (I'm going to make my own cable anyway)
Other: For a fraction of the price of a Canon wired cable release you can get a wireless trigger that works really well. Its a no brainer ;)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easy to use Works really well with no missed button pushes. Only tested it over a couple of metres so far but not a glitch. Mounts to the camera hot shoe. Very nice price, extra nice for me not being a pro user. Can be used as a wired remote since there is a shutter release button on the receiver (albeit with a Very short cord)
Cons: The only con is that it uses battery types that are not easily acquired cheaply where i live.
Other: Buy it, you wont regret it! Awesome for macro photography together with mirror lock up for super crisp images
