MJ-810E HA-III CREE XM-L T6 3-Mode "1000-Lumen" LED Diving Flashlight Set (2x18650/4x123A/4x16340)

Pros: - Good design, bright light, three modes.
- Sumilar to 29069 but better - slightly brighter, better focused, no modding required
- Spare O-rings included
- Good build quality, no problems with soldering detected

Cons: - no options to buy just a flashlight without batteries and the charger

- unprotected batteries included - easy to discharge them too much
- one O-ring was slightly scratched, I replaced it just in case
- Switch ring needs bigger overhangs otherwise it is difficult to operate, fingers will slip

Other: Good diving flashlight, recommended.

Pros: - it's enought small, light and very powerfull - simple replacing battery (3,5 hours runtime is a lot, but it is good option to be able replace battery during the day f.e. on the ship) - low cost spare battery, I recommend SKU 26248 - very good price compare to special scuba diving lights - enought powerfull as main dive light

Cons: - I strictly recommend replace all three O rings (third under the glass) to nitrobutyl (rubber)type and grease them using silicon grease SKU 47418.

Other: - I recommend this flashlight to buy !!! - as backup light I use SKU 20762

Pros: The light is BRIGHT and very easy to take on a diving trip. I don't think you will even need the 100% setting in tropical waters. Here in Netherlands 100% of this torch setting is enough to do the 50cm / 1 meter dives in our dark waters. And even then very convenient and compareable to the more expensive HID ones..

Cons: It needs work when you get it out of the box;
1. THe spring was disconnected from the back cap and landed somewhere in front of the torch.. I can imagine novice users putting the batteries in with the result that the torch doesn't work
2. The alluminium front bezel (metal ring that secures the glas) was not firmly closed. I can imagine that taking it in a dive may flood the torch
3. The O0rings need work.. Make sure you examine all the O-rings, also the ne that waterproves the LED area (Behind the glass)
4. Batteries included are to my opinion the 18700 (18mm dia and 7 cm long) ones and not the 18650 ones (18mm diameter and 6,5cm long.. Think about that buying a backup set !!

Other: Very good torch, BRIGHt and really durable. Value for money !! Buy one !

Pros: This dive torch is amazingly bright and matches (if not exceeds) the brightness of canister lights which are so bulky and expensive. When you turn it on you feel like you have the power of the sun in your hand.......and then you realise you are only on low mode! The end cap is sealed very well with two o-rings and is a very tight fit to prevent water from entering the unit.

Cons: The strobe/battery indicator is a bit hard to use and I'm not exactly sure how it works. I think the faster the strobe is, the more battery power is left. To activate it you go from stand-by to low to high all very quickly. It takes a while to get used to it and it difficult to activate even when you know how to.

Other: For the price you cannot beat this torch. Just get some good 4000mah batteries, make your own securing system and you will have the perfect dive torch.

Pros: - Plenty of light for little money. - Ideal holiday lamp, full headlamp but still very light. - Very good entry lamp for the novice diver. - Sufficient light for 2 dives.

Cons: - A little too simple on / off button - Magnetic on / off button - The charger is not available with standard European plug - I recently bought 20 pieces for my diving club. 2 lamp showed failure during the initial tests. A friend of mine had one with loose connections. My personal bad charger charging a battery at a time and gives an error when I try to charge two batteries simultaneously.

Other: - Anyway, for this price a very good dive light.

Pros: Bright - wide light - just the right angle of flare. As bright as ~10W HID cannister - at least so it seemed when diving with a buddy that has one. Quality seems good though

Cons: O-rings are too big & pop out when you screw in the ends. If you can get the ends on, then it is very tight & tough to get off to recharge the batteries. The lense o-ring was too small. There were aluminum filings around the o-rings. The switching ring doesn't lock or click into place, so it could get switched on/off accidentally

Other: Buy this, but be prepared to clean it out & replace all o-rings. Also have a case of some sort for transport (I use a neoprene wine bag - works fine)

Pros: Really much light - keep away from your frieds with expensive Hartenbergers: They will be really sad, because they spent 10 times the money for the same quantity of light. Of course the light is cool light, a little blueish, but in in compairison the halogen light looks strage yellow.I havn´t tested the time, the batteries may last, but after 45 min was the Hartenberger off and the DX ist still alite for long.

Cons: The turning witch is a poor construction: As it isn´t cklicking into the chosed position, you easyly switch on or off the light without intension.

Other: A really good choice for a dive lamp with low costs!

Pros: Soo much light, small torch-lot of light. In water on night dive like sword from Star Wars. Nice strong beam in center, and around second with low low intensity. In compare with expencive lamps(HID with canisters more then 400eur) is very, very close(or maybe better). O-rings do job, Was go on 65m with this without any problem. Respect burn time more then 1h20min on full power.

Cons: final can be better. rotary switch does not have click. soldering job on led chip can be much better, have problem with one lamp but after soldering works normaly.

Other: WORTH EVERY CENT, for soo much light. U will make great job if u buy this

Pros: This lamp is extremely light comparing to other scuba lights, especially when you take count how powerful it is.
Under water you normally use the lowest power level and that looks like car head light. When you put it to full power, it feels like somebody has light up extra head light.
Power of batteries is good, you don't need to recharge after every dive, even you dive hours at once.

Cons: There was some condensation water behind glass, like there was high humidity at factory when lamp was made. I couldn't find way to open lamp to dry it.
But even with that water, there was no problems with it.

Other: I'm very satisfy for my bought!

Pros: A good light for diving holidays. Plenty of light and not heavy. Mostly use the lowest setting.
You can easily find worse lights for 2-3 times the price

Cons: The switch is poorly constructed. It is way to smooth. Should be a clicking system so it is changed only intentionally.
By putting a small bit of bike tube around the light and part of the switch this is partly solved.
The standby mode is standby and not off. It still drains the batteries.
As often with LED lights the colour rendering index is pretty low (compared to Halogen dive lights).

Other: For the size, weight and price very nice light.
If the switch would be improved upon and a led with higher CRI could be used it would be a great light.
