MK808 Dual-Core Android 4.1.1 Google TV Player w/ 1GB RAM / 8GB ROM / Wi-Fi / TF / HDMI

Pros: Nice and small Android device for the TV. The processor is fast and the software really up to date. It ships with Android 4.1.1. There is an englisch manual describing the basics. But just plug it into you HDMI port of your tv, attach a mouse and get going. Google Play is fully supported. All cables you need are provided, including a flat plugged powersupply (charger). I needed to buy a converter but that all.

Cons: not all android software works flawlessly with a mouse. As expected no mouse or keyboard/remote included.

Pros: This MK808 Android mini PC is very easy to use. With its double processor, even full HD movies play well. Installation is right out of the box. All necessary cables are inclusive; HDMI, micro-usb and power adapter. After plug in it took only a few minutes to get it running after connecting to my w-lan. Wifi speed is good, no problems occured. The MK808 comes with Android Jellybean as OS and a very well HD mediaplayer app built in. Upnp is also available.

Cons: The power adapter is for US only, so if you'll need an adapter for Europe.

Other: My intention for this buy was to upgrade my tv set. And I'm happy to say this MK808 did that in a marvelous way. Its highly recommended.

Pros: Looking trough al the different kind of android mini PC's this was really the one that was perfect for me. I liked that everything is in the box, cables and a English description. Also the specs are perfect! With this version of android it in about 45 seconds fully operational. The first time, I needed to change some things for my country. But everything went flawlessly. I'm waiting for a special App so that i can watch real live television (not website streams) with this device. Streaming HD movies went perfect!

Cons: The power adapter is for US only, so you'll need an adapter for Europe.

Other: Really a good buy for this price. Very happy that I bought this one. Also the delivery went pretty fast! In 2 weeks it was delivered!

Pros: Android - i like this OS :-) Noiseless - it doesn't have a fans. Small size and weight - it just hangs in air (I put the HDMI in my reciever Yamaha 463) It has 8Gb memory mounted as sdcard (only 4gb is allowed for me but it is enough for me) and 2Gb storage. It has enough performance, i bought it to turn my TV to android box. I watch youtube and moives i mount my cifs/smb share to sdcard.

Cons: It doesn't have 5.1/DT3/AC3 via HDMI yet. But guys from site 4pda.ru give me a little hope to remake firmware in feature and improve it. It doesn't have any screensavers, and if you forget to turn it off, your TV will show a static picture on screen, i suppose it is not good.

Other: Great device, if you need to turn your TV-Box to Smart-TV-Box that is youu need.

Other: I would suggest this to everyone who wants to make his TV "smarter" This will also come in handy on my holidays, you can take your application and games with you everywhere using this small and low-weight device

Pros: Very easy to use and install, Android rom is stable, Recognizes automatically air mouse and keyboard, Maps a samba server and shares directory with Windows machines

Cons: Wi-fi doesn't connect in mid distances (my mobile and notebook connects normally), Didn't recognizes my bluetooth dongle, Didn't recognizes my 3g modem, Colors are not good, probably a bad contrast configuration

Pros: Very easy to use player for beginners. It works fine in a home network and the Internet. The devices are connected without a problem. Applications are installed and working correctly. The device can be connected to the service port of the TV and it will work.

Cons: WiFi speed is not as declared, the internal memory is4 GB but not 8!

Other: Good product, worth the money, but you need to specify the true characteristics.

Pros: Quick CPU, good amount of RAM, fresh Android version, a lot of possibilities to play around with apps, Google Play market works very well - Chrome browser was installed in few minutes and works good, games are working as well (tried several like Angry Birds, etc.). Updates are also done. Build quality is quite decent. Gmail, youtube works great (HD videos from youtube are smooth)

Cons: Weak wi-fi signal, in spite of advertised dual antenna setup.. There are problems with wi-fi signal, the device located 3m from 300Mbps router has 5-25mbps connection speed. Mouse movement is laggy - have tried two different good quality Logitech mice. All installed video players are having problems playing movies from NAS over smb, not even HD. Most probably this is related to weak wi-fi signal. Device rebooted several times trying to play video.

Other: I had to disassemble to find out weak wireless signal reason and found some bad soldering causing short circuit around one of the antenna connections. I have fixed that, so signal now shows up to 65mbps, much better, but not so good, the HTC smartphone has much better connection in the same location.

Pros: Easy to use. Can download apps from the play store. Can be powered from usb or plug (adapter required for europe). Works great with my wireless mouse. The Speed is very good. Nice display.

Cons: wifi is a problem. It is very low. (Needs modding to fix) Google tv remote app not available for this version. Could not connect my webcam.

Other: Very good product, has all the benifits of android 4.1

Pros: Comes with addditional/needed hardware (like mini USB OTG to FM USB and mini HDMI to HDMI). Plug and play with android 4.1.1. Responsive with no lag and plays. Comes with 2A poweradapter!

Cons: None so far. Was concerned when it comes to wifi range, but its more tha adequate for me. Need at power socket converter for use in EU - can be purchased here as well.

Other: Nice product, better than expected! For the time being, I do not see any reason to change/mod my unit both in terms another ROM or WIFI mod. Perhaps I was lucky? Order the measy RC11 for this iot get full bebefits
