    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Really good value for the money. They go through a sequence of slow single color changes, then a rapid series of colorful flashes. Then the pattern keeps repeating..... No heat buildup and low draw on the power source.

    Cons: none that I can see.

    Other: A cheap alternative to a boring bulb - these will dress up a lot of different things that will take this size of bulb. I also posted a video. The video quality isn't the best but you can get a general idea of colors and timing of flashes.
