MR16 3.8W 60-LED 6500K 360-Lumen Light Bulb - White (12V)

Pros: Very nice build quality. The grill part that seems like cooling fins are actually made of some kind of aluminum (I tested this by dremmeling into one of the fins) and they are actually cooling grills. Not that a 3.8 watt light needs cooling! The halogen light bulb I am replacing produced 20Watts of heat. But those finns just look cool. For my purposes the 6500K Daylight tone is just perfect.

Cons: The housing is slightly higher than my regular 20W Halogen light bulb that is being replaced with this LED light. For me this does however not matter, as there is plenty room in the fixture.

Other: Its a bit pricy, but the build quality makes up for that.

Pros: Quite bright, not as much as a 50W halogen, but can easily replace a 20W one. Looks well built.

Cons: Really cool white color temp. It was ok for the place it was used, but be careful if you do not want your living room to look like a hospital.

Other: Not as cheap as it could be and the 6000K color temp does limit its usefulness, but overall it seems to be a decent lamp.

Pros: Very cheap LED light bulb.
I saw the same LED light bulb in a bricolage center here in my country, and it costs about 3 times as much as this on DX.
The power consumption is very low.
The light is quite bright, you can easily light up a small room with one of these bulbs.

Cons: None at all.

Other: Buy it now if you want a very low consumption bulb that can make a bright light.
This is a good deal.

Pros: - The light bulb is very robust, seems strong.
- Very easy to install.
- Strong light (I was using a 50w incandecent lamp and the led is stronger than it)
- White light, seems like the daylight
- Don`t heats

Cons: - Even being of very good quality, I think it could be cheaper. As you can see, the Price rating was the only thing I rated less than 4 points.

Other: - Good build quality and strong directed light. I recommend.

Pros: It is only 3.8W but just as bright as a 50W halogen. I ordered three different led lights; this one, the 30 thats 3.6W, and the 30 thats 1.5W. The 1.5W is very blue but way to dim, complete garbage. The 3.6W is good for as 25W halogen replacement. This one is the best one of all because is it as bright as the 50W but eats 7.6% of the energy and doesn't heat up so it doesn't burn the socket.

Cons: The price is ehhh. Halogen equivalent are 1/6 the price but they burn out too quickly.

Other: BUY THEM. compared to the ceramic or glass halogens, these are perfect replacements. they are durable, barely suck energy, very bright.

Pros: Well….in mine in case that I only bought 36 light bulbs of these to substitute 36 light bulbs of halogen of 50 w.
In mine case… I only passed of 1800kw for 144kw of consumption.
Of the one not to regulate the light intensity, but the quality is excellent.

Cons: Each light bulb has 60 leds, one of them burnt 2 leds and the others 58 function perfectly.
They ask because they had left to give? Easy….I bound with a transforming one damaged.
A good purchase… I recommend!

Other: LED downlight technology is still in its infancy and is constantly improving. However, if you are looking to reduce energy consumption and save on electricity costs, these units are a great replacement for conventional halogen downlights. Highly recommended!

Pros: Very white light.
Light very even across the spread.
Light spread very similar to 50W halogen.
Came well packaged.

Cons: Relatively expensive to buy compared to others on this site.
Not good if you do not like high temperature (stark white) lighting

Other: If you are looking at replacing halogens & want a white light these are the ones.

Pros: Great bulb! Very Very bright! If you dont mind the white daylight coloured light this bulb will easily replace a 35w halogen and might even be a bit brighter! We have bought 14 of these bulbs so far and not one has failed on us, you may need to hook your 12v ac power supplies together though to cope with the very low load on them. We have not bought an LED bulb as good as this one yet, and it fits perfectly into the mr16 socket, and will stop you having to replace the connectors on your light fittings :)
