MR16 3W 3-LED 270-Lumen 3250K Light Bulb - Warm White (12V)

Pros: The colour of the light is very nice. It's not like those normal white LED lights which always give a cold blueish colour. This one is actually warm white, although an incandescent light bulb still has a warmer kind of colour. The build quality seems good, they do not seem to get too hot.

Cons: The lights do not look that good, but then again, who looks at them? Most LED lights look a bit high tech anyway. It's usually due to the necessary heatsink.

Other: If you're looking for inexpensive warm white lights. Get these!

Pros: Cheap and robust led light bulbs. The brightness ist quite good and they light up almost as much as an halogen 50watt bulb

Cons: This is not warm white light. It projects an awfull white "blueish" inhuman light not suitable for home, unless you want your living room to look like a morgue.

Other: Buy this bulbs only if you don't care about what colour the light will be. You can find them specially usefull at places like warehouses, garages, junk rooms, and so on.

Pros: I bought this lamp to substitute a series of halogen ones. Well, the light is better than the other led lamp , I mean a little bit more yellow. BUT DO NOT EXPECT TO HAVE THE SAME COLOR AS AN ALOGEN ONE. Intensity is like an alogen 25 W Lamp The angle is very close so there will be not a big area covered. For my use , in a office place, this is a good lamp, I will susbtitute all that I have in my office ( 8 alogen of 35 W=280 W) with this one 8x3=24 W !!!!! Good price.

Cons: No cons, but an another time, do not expect to have a warm, wellow light as an alogen one.

Other: Very very good price, acceptable color, a litte bit more yellow than the others led lamp, perfect fit in mechanical dimension as an alogen lamp of 35 W.

Pros: Bright (cold) white spot. Only 3Watts. Cold to the touch.

Cons: A bit too cold white to my liking Not really enough luminous flux to serve as a 25W halogen replacement. Spot could be wider.

Other: If you don't mind the cold white and can mix it with halogens these are just fine. Good secondary light-source, but don't provide enough luminous flux to be used as primary light-source.

Pros: Very nice lamp for replacing halogen spots. I suppose about 35° spot. Maybe a 30W halogen replacement. The controlling board in the socket is equipped with a small inductor - no linear energy elimination.

Cons: Plastic socket, plastic lenses. After 10 min running, the AL cooler is getting really hot - it's barely touchable.

Other: Cheap quality but for the price it's amazing!

Pros: - One of the cheaper ones around with decent build quality.
- Delivery from DX is fast and items arrived as expected in working condition.

Cons: - Could be a little cheaper. Say USD$5?

Other: Good value for money. Better value if cheaper.
LED looks to be the CCFL killer. Prices need to come down some more though.

Pros: good metallic housing, high-quality plastic, good lens

Cons: Driver did not provide a stable current. LED current was 600 mA and is not stabilized. Lamp strongly warmed, low efficiency. The driver was replaced by sku.26110. Resulting in a steady current of 300 mA, a moderate heat. Brightness nizilas slightly.

Other: A set of spare parts for the construction of the lamp housing, radiator, lens, LED but not the finished product.

Pros: Dimmable by voltage control. Full light power 12 V d.c., light power decreases more or less linearily with voltage drop below 12 V. Dimming works also with a.c. (wall dimmer + transformator). Light power equivalent to 20 W - 35 W halogen bulb.

Cons: Blueish center. Surface finishing at lens sub-optimal (seems to be that it has been laqured and then put for drying on a mesh, however, when installed not recognizable). Bulb shows shuttering effect at full power at a.c.

Other: OK for its price, if you don't dare about blueish center and shutter effect.

Pros: I have ordered 14 of these now over two orders. The first order had a number of lights that were comparatively quite dim, but the bright ones are very useful and probably offer the same amount of light as a 35w halogen.

Cons: I received some dim lights. When looking into the lenses (when turned off) they look more black than white shown in the photos. I complained to DX and they offered to replace them, so pretty good service. I have decided to keep them and use them for bar lighting, or even put differend LEDs in them.

Other: Overall, I am happy with these. $6 each when you buy them in bulk is a great deal. Even if you just buy them for the driver and housing and replace the LEDs yourself.

Pros: -Nice and warm! The warmest LED I have seen thus far! -Very comparable to the colour warmth of a standard 50W halogen. -Decent and bright, I use it to light up a tree outdoors. -Quality seemed good -3W as stated 250mA @ 12V AC

Cons: -Runs over current on DC 12V supply ~400-600mA on ~12V DC. Gets VERY hot in not long. LEDs won't last long if driven this way. (See *other* for fix*) -Slight AC flicker when running from AC supply, didn't notice it until I moved my fingers very fast past the light. - Case runs Warm/hotish ~40-50*C. Led's probably run an extra 10-20*C hotter, so probably still in spec.

Other: -Very nice warm light -Build quality was good -Cheapish for what you get -Designed for AC -Ever so slight ac flicker with AC supply. Not too bad -Could be cheaper! -Awesome warm white light! Colour desn't even look like an LED!
