    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - not blinding, as the light source is distributed over the surface - no sharp shades - much like an oldie 40 Watt bulb

    Cons: Its hardly even 200 lm - doesnt outperform 1w cree The spectrum is too much yellowish - as to my taste

    Other: Vintage-style light bulb, may be used for some decoration, or backlight. Guess, these hardly can compete with cree

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: The first thing i did was to crack open the one I receive the circuit board include some led and resistor no protection. I used a couple of lr44 to create portable light it is powerenough (30W-40w) and last 3-4 hours on 8 lr44 witch is nice

    Cons: none

    Other: I have bought a couple of those and will create different battery operated lantern and flashligh like device :)
