What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: Small, good range, good speed. Works right out of the box with Windows XP, Vista, and OSX!!!! This thing uses a Toshiba chipset which pretty much every OS has a driver for.
Cons: None yet.
Other: Buy it, it's good. And if you lose your driver cd, you won't want to kill your cat!
It isn't often that devices like these don't require a "driver hunt" online. I would highly recommend this one.

Pros: Small size Great price Impressive range for so small an adapter Bluetooth 2.0 EDR Blue LED flashes with activity
Cons: Design is a bit boxy
Lack of metal shielding on USB plug
Not really small enough to leave in laptop
Other: This is an absolutely wonderful adapter, I couldn't be more pleased. I ordered it on a whim but will now be getting a few more. This is the best adapter I have gotten from DX thus far, without question.
A final note, this adapter uses the Cambridge Silicon Radio, which should give excellent OS support. I personally tested this adapter on Linux 2.6.24 and found it to work better than my adapters with Integrated System Solution Corp radios.

Pros: It is TINY. Has a blue LED that blinks with activity. Did I mention it is TINY???? It works on Linux.
Cons: I get about 68kbytes/sec average transfer speed which is not so good (Bluetooth 2.0 EDR is supposed to be 3 megabit). It's not even double the speed of my old BT 1.2 dongle.
Other: I cannot imagine anyone making a smaller bluetooth dongle than this!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Instantly recognized by XP when hotplugged. The included software gave me all the functionality I needed to transfer files to and from my mobile phone. The installed stack is name brand, and has excellent support for many types of devices. The blue activity LED is a really nice addition to the unit.
The range on the transmitter is quite good, and I haven't noticed any issues using it in a 5 ft radius. I'm sure it could go more.
Cons: Build quality is not perfect. The casing on mine looks to be separating a little bit, but it works just fine.
Other: Great for ten dollars. Avoid having to hunt down obscure drivers and software.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works great in Linux/XP, minimal problems with A2DP headphone profile, which is what I use it for. Also works fine for Wiimotes via Glovepie or CWiid.
Cons: Probably not small enough to use and keep plugged into a laptop. A2DP playback gets spotty if I'm downstairs (however, it's also plugged in *inside* of my desktop, that might affect things as well) and moving. In other words, not much. Works fine.
Other: A solid bluetooth adapter. Linux/XP/OS-X friendly. I can't vouche for anything else tho.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small enough to plug into the USB port but not so ridiculously small that you'll have a hard time pulling it out. Also cheaper than the 'smallest' one on DealExtreme. Has a blue status light. Really works out of the box (tested on Mac OS X Leopard, Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista).
Cons: Your child, sibling or dog may swallow. Keep out of reach from protential predators!
Other: Cheaper than the smaller one and guarranteed to work in your XP Vista OS X environment. If you have a bluetooth phone might as well use that rather than the clumsy cable.

Pros: this is a really great bluetooth dongle.
other dongles i had didn't live up to their promises.
this one does.
it is small, it is bluetooth 2.0, it has quite some range.
the included software works really great and is easy to use.
oh, and the software doesn't screw up windows' standard bluetooth stack.
i'm using a laptop with built in bluetooth, which lacks audio protocols. i still want to use that bluetooth (when i don't have the dongle with me). in the past i used bluesoleil which screwed up my windows drivers. this software does not (i can still use the built in bluetooth without dongle)
Cons: range is said to be 10 meters, i measured it to be only 7 (using a bluetooth headphone) it would probably work further away, but the distortion appeared after 7 meters.
i've seen smaller bluetooth dongles on DX. this one is about 0.5 cm out of your usb port
Other: cheap, small, software works, great range, fast.
it's not the smallest one around, but don't let that hold you back.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The dongle is very small, supports bluetooth version 2.0 and is very small. ;)
Also support Linux out-of-box, which is very important, because I use Linux (of course).
Cons: Nothing, dongle makes its job well.
Other: Good purchase. Here in Finland the tiny bluetooth dongle costs 10€, this costs about 6€. If you have laptop that does not have bluetooth, this is very good. If I someday need bluetooth dongle again, I will buy this.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works flawlessly
Is very discreet
The blue light is very dim (a good thing)
Cons: really, none I have noted
Other: Good product, good price, good retailer.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good price and very small. It has a blue led that indicates activity. Good range and stability. No drivers needed in XP. Just plug and play.
Cons: Build quality it's not the best. The dongle body seems bad adjust in the two pieces it has. Not the best price.
Other: A good BT dongle, easy to use and tiny. No special drivers and software needed. A good buy.
