Pros: - Very cheap.
- Protects your lens.
- Metal frame is strong enough.
- It have a hard plastic box that protected the lens filter
Cons: For the time being no cons, but I do not see differences between the photos taken with and without the filter.
Other: I am not much expert in photography and therefore I do not know to what servant exactly the filter uv. But if the filter is this that been trying, second me it is an optimal purchase since it is economic and sturdy. Also because many use filter UV solo as you protect lens, and in effects he is much transparent one and it would not have to modify the taken photos.

Pros: This filter is cheaper than other found on market. Build quality is good.. aluminium and coated glass its look like car windshield slightly pink when looked from side. Protective plastic case is useful for caring around.
Cons: no cons
Other: This filter is also useful for protecting camera lens from fingerprints and dust. Looking good on my Konica Minolta Z3.

Pros: This one has an unbeatable price. It is a multi-coated filter. The build quality seems good. And the thread fits well on my 50mm F1.8 Nikkor.
Cons: The case of the filter is not the round one in the picture, which I think is attractive. Instead it is a square one with a cheap padding inside. The overall packaging looks way cheaper than the pictures here. (But the filter itself is good.)
Other: I won't spend 15 times more for a B+H just to have a piece of protective glass for the lens, will you?
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good filter to do his main job: To protect camera lens from dust and enviroment particles.
Very nice glass. You wont loose any light using it.
For this price Makes perfectly his work.
Comes in a case that u can use for any filter you have.
YOu can use more filter by mounting below this.
Cons: Built in metal, but not very good quality. It could dissasemble if you drop it.
Other: Sorry for my bad English ;-)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -It is very very cheap and looks, at the very first time, as any other filter.
-Well for the price but... see below
-Will protect your lens
-Looks to have coat, I don't believe it is a multi-coated filter but looks to have the coat.
Cons: -Mine come dirty with some points on glass. After open package I have to clean it - this never happened with any product I bought.
-The ring has annoying pitch. It really matches the lens screw pitch but to attach at the first rotate evolution is very difficult... there is some screw pitch difference I guess
-The photo from DX page does not match what I get but it is still a Massa brand.
-The coat does not look durable and seems that will be lost at the first clean. In fact it does not look multi-coated as it claims.
-It is not so transparent as it should be.
Other: Actually the best way to tell the quality of this Massa filter is to analyze it against a well know quality filter like Hoya, Tiffen or any other well accepted brand in an spectrometer but I don't have access to this kind of equipment. I believe that a well conduct experience with a good camera and controlled light (with a possible photometer) can give good answers as well.
In fact I have a policy here: cheap lens, cheap filters! (and, sure, expensive lens, the best filers ever). This time I found Massa filter the best option since has no ship cost (thanks DX) and very low price but I think I did a bad deal. My kit lens has only a 4.5 to 5.6 F-stop and even the problem with Massa filter is lower f-stop I think it is better to get another filter instead try to compensate it. With a faster lens like 50mm f1.8 it is possible to compensate easy maybe.
Finally, I've uploaded my three test pictures and hope DX approve it so you can compare by yourself.

Pros: Bought it to protect my main lense from dirt, dust, and smudges...does this job fine.
Fits perfectly on my 52mm lens
Decent build quality
No need to take lense cap off before taking a picture!!
Cons: None that I know of...however other reviewers seem to mention that it's not as clear as it could be and that it may affect picture quality. I haven't noticed any of this but then again, I'm a NOOB
Other: I feel more comfortable having this on my expensive lenses.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Protects your expensive lenses
Low cost compared to Hoya, B&W, or Tiffen etc
Cons: I don't know how much UV it actually blocks compared to the "name brand" versions. Build quality might be a little light compared to others.
Other: Cheap way to protect your expensive lenses which is why most people buy these anyway. Why spend $60+ on a Hoya or B&W UV filter, save that money to put towards CPL or ND filters instead.

Pros: The ring looks solid, feels solid and is solid. The lens is clear and serves as a good protection against sea spray, since I love to shoot landscape. The price is cheap and transportation was a breeze. The casing holds together quite nicely and is something I'd like to bring around with.
Cons: It's just plain glass and sounds a bit flimsy when tapping on it. I get worried it might crack when there's an accidental knock.
Other: For the price, it's definitely a good purchase, works well for it's price. The ring feels solid and the container it comes with is well made.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - pretty solid - protect your lenses - useful package - easy to screw
Cons: - mine came with some dirt and scratches - little bit yellow coat (is this multicoated?) - decrease image quality - not so transparent as it should be
Other: My advice: buy Massa Uv-filter without mc. This one reduce image quality and colors. It´s not really bad, but if you have some "real brand" like Hoya, Kenko etc. filter you will find big difference.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Great price; - Good construction; - Quality optics acceptable; - It causes very little chromatic aberration; - Convenient plastic case;
Cons: - Cause a little reflection that can be solved with a lens hood; - There's a thread a little screwed tight to the lens; - Do not allow the perfect fit of the lens cap;
Other: Since I bought that I use in my 50mm lens and I can guarantee it is not noticeable difference in the outcome of the pictures if not done a thorough analysis. This filter has saved my lenses on several occasions.
