Pros: Very cheap. They can be used along with a multimeter or to make on-the-fly cabling.

    Cons: Construction is not perfect

Other: You will need a pair sooner or later...

Pros: Its a alligator clamp thats is cheap, atleast compared to the price theese things costs over here. Its a alligator clamp thats works, nothing more, nothing less

    Cons: None.

This in not really something negative, just at thought that might be scaru for some :)

These clamps can also be used in sexual a content, like bondage s/m and nasty games like those.

Other: Great alligator clamp for the price, I have no clue what the price for similar clamps is where you live, but where im live these is really chep alligator clamps.

Pros: Good value. Small size good for working with smaller components that might slip through larger teeth. Can form jumper cables if you can be bothered.

Cons: Only two colours. Some may be misaligned. Some jackets are very thin. Might take some effort to find cable that is flexible enough for making your own jumper cables.

Other: It would be nicer with more exciting colours. May be worth it if you can find a use for individual clips or can be bothered adding wire.

Pros: These clamps are always very handy if youre busy with electronics or so.
The price is Fair to good.

Cons: The thicknes of the rubber is very thin ! In a long period use i think these rubber jackets will go tear. Or there will be holes in it.
Other Con is when you tweeze the clamps.. The iron clamp will slip away in its rubber jacket. Not very handy and bit enoying.

Other: Great price for the clamps. But the price said it all ! There arnt that good then his expensive brothers.
I orderd the bigger ones too and those ones arnt that slippery in its rubber jacket then the small ones.
For the price you can try it. Maybe you like them more then me.

  • Very small clamps

posted by tohterry on 09:30:15 G7T 03/07/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: + The clips are tight
+ A small hole at the clamp allows you to tie a wire through it

Cons: - Due to the small size, it is a little difficult to put the clamp back to the jacket; you have to clip it on something thick first
    - While inside the jacket, these clamps are hard to press as they are thin

Other: If you don't need large clamps, these small ones will do just great but your wire must not be too thick.

  • A must-have

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: -Nice
    -Small
    -Cheap

Cons: Sometimes it's hard to solder the cables to them, should have a bigger hole at the 'base' (the part under the cover)

Other: I have used simmilar clips for some time now, and these are really cheap, and very well build for their price. With free shipping, it's even better. I suggest buying some multimeter test leads (still waiting for mine), and cut of the probes, and solder these on. Really makes it easyer to 'grab' something you wish to measure.

  • Not bad for the price

posted by chrisb on 15:27:32 G9T 01/09/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The price is pretty good considering how many you get.
Rubber covers seem strong if a little thin.
Colour coded which is always good.
Basically cheap crocodile clips with rubber covers as a bonus.

Cons: They don't clip on to multimeter test leads (e.g. SKU 9516) - you have to solder them to something for them to be useful.

Other: If you have a need for something like this, they're as good as any.
