Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The price is just awesome!
Perfect penlight to put in your pocket aka EDC use
Solid build
Good quality
Nice wide beam: perfect for general use
Just as nice as my Streamlight stylus pro!
You can get AAA batteries anywhere
Cons: The pocket clip should have been placed higher up
The pocket clip is a little too tight (will need to loosen it up a bit)
Mine is red: I would have liked the silver/black one
You can't choose what color you want
Other: Impressive quality for a price you can't beat! If you want a simple, reliable EDC light that you can just put in your pocket like a pen: this is it.
You can't go wrong with this one.

Pros: -The price is incredibly low -Nice small and compact design -Very nice bright light -The body is full-metal (I didn't expect that!)
Cons: -DX should sort the colors and let us pick -The electronic LED driver inside seems to be low quality (see Other Thoughts)
Other: Just buy one or two, they are just worth the price! And by the way, they look like a good laser host. I am definitely going to make a laser from one of those I got.

Pros: It gives a pretty good ammount of light, enough to walk outside in the night or for everyday use, the clip is sturdy, the overall contruction is really good, i was expecting much worse for this price range for sure!
Cons: If you want to take the pocket clip out it may be a bit difficult since its really tight in the body of the light and it may scratch it, but for me me its not really a con since thats one of the reason why i bought it but can bother some people
Other: This is a really good option for a pen light and for everyday use, it gives enough light for most tasks, good quality and build, i already bought some more!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This is an absolutely superb light. Compare it to one in the ~$20USD range. Excellent construction and quality feel, there is really nothing bad I can say about it. I purchased it based comments regarding the output. It is very bright, one of the brightest compact LED flashlights I've encountered. It takes up barely any more room than a Sharpie marker so carrying it in your back pocket is easy. I bought (4) and gave one to each family member and everyone likes theirs.
Cons: I wish you could pick the color, the red is actually quite nice. One light developed a flicker after a few minutes but that may have been due to the batteries. It has not happened again since I changed them.
Other: I cannot offer any suggestions for improvement on this product. It is about as perfect as you can get. Well done anonymous Chinese flashlight factory, well done!

Pros: - Compact and lightweight. - Low price.
Cons: - Worked perfectly for a couple of days, but now it blinks rapidly for a few seconds after I turn it on. I read the forum about this and some other buyers reported the same problem. A bit disapointing. Hope it doesnt get worse. - Bright light at short distance but gets very weak after a few feet.
Other: Like I said above it does not have a very long range even for a flashlight this small. The light it provides is quite acceptable to read maps or other things like that, but don't expect it to reach very far in a large room or outside.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: cheap
bright (~24 lumens)
small
easy to find batery (AAA)
simple operation: no modes or focus
flood beam
Shipping was quick
Cons: high current draw... short battery life.
screwing on the tailcap is tricky... springs are too strong
Other: Does exactly what a penlight is supposed to do. Good light for a great price. If these hold up over time, ill be back for more.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This penlight is just perfect, it is cheaper than those we bought at school this year ( 6$ vs 3.90$ ) and it is way much stronger. I am using it for eyes tests as a paramedic and if you don't put the beam in the eyes of your victim it won't blind him. It lights enough to use it for the outside. I also use it to help with a really bad bike light.
Cons: The clip is a bit too strong, it is so strong that when I took it of it ripped some paint off the penlight. It is so strong that it is sometimes hard to fix it somewhere with the clip..
Other: BUY!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very nice light for the $. It puts more light out than my streamlight stylus pro for less than 25% of the cost. The clicky is very positive and feels sturdy. The pocket clip feels sturdy as well even though it looks like it would bend easily. The beam is floody compared to the stylus pro. I bought this light to use at work repair and investigating automobile issues I hope it proves to be as sturdy as the stylus pro. I bought 2 and I got 2 black lights.
Cons: The beam has a bluish tint to it. It is not totally blue but it does have a noticeable tint. The threads are a little rough but aren't too bad.
Other: If this thing holds up it will be the steal of the century. It pretty much what I envision the perfect pen light. Simple, bright, and small form factor.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: On the surface it looks good. Long runs on two batteries. Do not scratch Strong coverage.
Cons: Not a bright light. There's no 50 lumens. Light blue tint. Plastic bad glass. Reflector with defects, although a good body nice and strong. There should be a bright LED and it will be a very good flashlight. Power board can not use lithium battery 3 - 4.2 volts. Maximum voltage can be 3 volts. This is bad.
Other: I wonder just bought this lantern. But my friends wanted to own it, too, and I ordered another 3 pieces of them. I gave my flashlight. Buy yourself another. I do not buy for themselves, this flashlight next time. But my friends wanted to own it, too, and I ordered another 3 pieces of them. Its light I gave to the child. Buy yourself another. Too little light.

Pros: I got this a few days ago and have been quite impressed by how it performs relative to the price I paid for this (under $4). I like carrying multiple flashlights on me and this competes with my 4Sevens Preon 2 pen light for daily and work use. I will go ahead and compare this pen light to the Preon 2 since I use both for server room/network closet work for cabling jobs.
This light has a flood beam much like the Preon 2 but has a bluish tint while the Preon has more of a soft yellow tint. I prefer blue over yellow. Also, this of course has a lower number of lumens but is still quite bright and sufficent for lighting up part of a room and inspecting dark areas. IMO, it seems like the lumens on this is somewhere between the medium to high modes on the Preon 2.
I now use this as my primary work tool in the server rooms because the battery runtime lasts longer than the Preon 2 lasts on high mode.....also it runs cooler and doesn't heat up my head when using it with a headband.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of. Sure, its not as bright as some premium flashlights you might find but for under $4, I'm thinking of buying many more in the future. Very pleased with the lumens it emits.
Other: Get it! High value penlight. Very good brightness.
