What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Quite a nice heat resistant tape. Its the only heat resistant tape I have bought so can't offer comparison to others. It sticks OK and was resilient enough not to melt when I soldered wires to a component on top of it (using it to insulate a components legs from the heat sink it was glued to)
Cons: Could be a little more sticky. Its not bad and perhaps heat resistant glues aren't that good, but I feel it could be a little better.
Other: Its another DX product that has impressed me. Not something I've bough before, but something I am now regularly using.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good quality, sticky enough. I use this tape to isolate different electronic components. I tested the resistance to heat using a heat gun, the product supports more than 350 degrees Celsius. Also it was exposed to direct flame and takes very long to burn.
Cons: The roll came a little dirty and misaligned but that does not affect its function. A bit thin when compared to the 3M mylar tape.
Other: Buy it, it never hurts if you work with electronics.
