N33 1080P H.264/RM/RMVB Full HD Media Player with HDMI/SDHC/USB Host/SPDIF/L/R/CVBS

Pros: Good presentation of the menu. Very simple, very clean. Really works with all the formats tested. The subtitle works fine, good drawing, and you can choose front and backcollor. The power source doesn't heated while I was testing. I think it can work long hours!

Cons: The button that should change the resolution (720p-1080p) doesn't work. If your video is in widescreen, it will be played in widescreen whith the black borders on top and botton screen. No matter if you have a widescreen tv, it will not fill the screen. Remote Control could be better made. Could come with the HDMI cable! Only with this you can use the full pottential (and less wires).

Other: In other words!!! I was surprised, and it realy exceeded my expectations. Realy did the job with perfection.

Pros: Compact, lightweight, well built. Silent - have no cooler fan. Supports subtitles. Supports multiple audiotracks in movie file, with selecting needed one. Supports at least FAT32 and NTFS formatted USB drives (my NTFS formatted 500Gb USB HDD works well). Poweroffs connected HDD, when standby. Suppots cyrillic subtitles and filenames. Fast power on.

Cons: - Not so ergonomical remote.
- Do not supports mp3's cyrillic tags. Very strange, since it supports cyrillic in filenames and subtitles.
- No playback navigation other than FF and RW - on heavy movies unusable, very slow.
- It seems that heavy movie (such as 1080p MKV) plays at the limit of processor power - rare lags.
- Supports firmware update, but there is no information about where can download it. So, existing bugs wouldn't be fixed.
- It can not disable sound playback thru HDMI. I've connected this player to my AV receiver via SPDIF, and tv sound undesirable for me.

Other: Not so ideal, but which one is? Great thing for the money.

Pros: for this price is a very good device, working fine with many media files, MP3, JOEG, AVI (divx,Xvid) and some MKV files. The output HDMI and SPDIF work very well with HD and DTS sound. easy and predictable menu in screen.

Cons: don't play some MVK files, I don't know why?.
Y try with one file MP4 video HD and the video work fine but the sound had rare noise. With one file large MKV in 1080P has some short breaks, but put pause then play and work fine.
I don't found the upgrate to review if these point are fixed

Other: continue the test with others files, but so far the balance is good. is a good buy
