What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Almost everything works fine. Following some preliminar tests that I did:
- composite and component output and cables included;
- video AVI + SRT subtitle;
- music MP3;
- images JPG;
- load SD cards and external HD.
Cons: - Remote control;
- It supports MKV files but it does not work fine (a lot of interruptions);
- It does not load pen drives.
Other: I thought this media player would play MKV files fine but it does not do. There are other media players that do the same thing and cheaper than this one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Wide range of codecs. What it does do, it does well. Small size.
Cons: Doesn't play H.264 / MP4 files smoothly - video keeps stopping while CPU tries to catch up. Only plays music one song at a time - not all songs in a directory Keeps power going to USB even when device is off No indication from LED if device is on or is in standby mode.
Other: Doesn't do what it claims. Only partially functional. Can be used for non-complex codec video. Not recommended for music. Better off buying a less expensive product that is not designed to support complex codecs.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easy to use. Plays most files out there OK. Not expensive. Lot's of options. Can use large capacity USB hard disks with it. Simple to set up
Cons: Doesn't play MKV or H.264 properly. Doesn't play multiple files in a folder which isn't good for music. Doesn't recognize USB devices when plugged in. Need to shut down and turn back on and wait
Other: An egregious product with deleterious properties that would better be left to decompose elsewhere outside of my domicile.
