NC600 Multi-User 100Mbps LAN Network Workstation Terminal

Pros: I wanted some computers to run permanent security cam outputs to some monitors presto! this does exactly what I need it isn't a full fledged computer, but it can do audio in/out and it is good enough to watch security camera feeds.. which is great for the price also you can play some old garbage 2d games and browse the net or do "Work"

Cons: it can't stream HD videos... maybe a later version can it could be a little sturdier, it feels like weak plastic

Other: I am going to buy about 15 more

Pros: Small. Silent i.e it has no cooler, nor disk inside. It works under Windows CE 5.0, so Windows interface looks known. There is Internet Explorer installed. The device is able to view internet. It supports a set of display modes, not only 1440x900 (as the description said). For example, a mode 1024x768 gives me a comfortable picture. The terminal has some software installed on to view and edit Word and Excel files. It is not necessary to install any software on Windows Server to connect it from the terminal. The interanal abilities are enough to do it.

Cons: The terminal is too "thin" to use it as a computer. For example, it has not memory enough to view site www.dx.com Modes over 1024 x 768 couses blinking. So, these mode are unavailable in practice. The description promises that MIC ia available o the terminal. In practice, the devise has no MIC. I need Russain fonts and Russian keyboard layout, they are unavailable in the terminal. Internet pages with 'charset=windows-1251' are not displayed properly, it'a a pity. The sullied software on the CD (NC Server 3.3) makes my Windows unavailable to connect it via Remote Desktop.

Other: The termanl is a useful thing, but there are some features. The software on supplied CD is useless for me.
