Pros: It's tiny, and can be used with Garmin software
Reception seems good in the car
Cons: The software that comes with it isn't really that professional. If you want to use it, look around the net for other software.
Other: It works just fine - much better than I had expected.

Pros: This GPS-dongle works nice.
Tested on netbooks Acer Aspire One AO110 (Windows XP) and AO532h (Windows 7), and Aspire 7535G (windows 7) laptop.
Works with Garmin Mobile PC 5.0 and Microsoft Autoroute 2010.
Cons: None.
Other: This is just what I needed to turn my netbook into a navigation-unit for my car.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Works well, the materials are correct, in addition to the cd driver that comes with the device also comes internet can easily download and test software for running. Nothing else fit, having been installed the drivers take coverage with little hope of course if there BE COVERED GPS course. It comes with a cable to extend the USB connection.
Practical and easy to install other programs can be used with GPS navigation as well as google maps if you have internet connection.
Cons: Should be somewhat cheaper
Other: Should be somewhat cheaper

Pros: Good device. Build quality and materials is acceptable. Fairly quickly detects satellites. With good visibility of satellites running quickly and clearly. Has a good set of drivers and an update on the manufacturer's website. Software compatibility is good.
Cons: Need a very good view of the sky. In a car you need to put into the open. No driver installation and support for Android.
Other: Recommend for use with a laptop.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Reasonably accurate Picks up satellites fairly quickly Software worked on XP, Vista 32-bit, 7 64-bit Simple USB-Serial driver, outputs raw NMEA data to serial terminal
Cons: Does NOT work on my netbook, period: Driver installs fine, software opens, shows NMEA data flowing in, but it will NEVER pick up a satellite. I think it might be due to the GPS depending on the grounding of the laptop as part of the antenna system. It works flawlessly with my HP tablet (which has a mostly metal construction) and acceptably on my old Dell laptop, but I can't pick up a single sat on my netbook. The software is supposedly supposed to show your location on Google maps or similar in a browser to the right of the control panel, but all it does is keep refreshing a blank page for me, also it annoyingly has those "script errors" that you might recall from the days of IE.
Other: Overall, somewhat satisfied with it, I was planning on cracking the case open and using it for electronics projects since it outputs NMEA USART data, but I think I'll keep it for use with my tablet. Disappointed that it won't work on my netbook, real design flaw there. I can't totally recommend it since it only worked well on 1/3 of my computers.

Pros: Connected it directly to my Acer Aspire One, it did not receive any signal; with the short extension, it did not work either but when I added the 2 m length of USB extension, it worked ok - it is then susceptible to RF interference , specially since I have the VGA cable hooked-on - After it connected, 9 satellites were received when the unit was taken away from the netbook, in the open. To test further, I brought the unit close in to the Acer, the number of satelites rapidly went down to nothing.
Cons: Instruction manual could be better
Other: It is a good and sturdy unit for the price
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Hard to write reviews about stuff that just works, does what it should and does it well. Without any problems defined satellites and software Garmin Mobile XT (on the car-PC with WinXP32bit) identified the GPS receiver as a mother. Other Software www.pocketgis.biz too easily positioned on the receiver ND-100S.
Cons: Noticed a problem: if the stick ND-100S directly into the laptop, then the satellites are caught long and as a result of their less than it would include GPS receiver at least 20cm from the laptop using a USB extension cable in such a situation the same antenna orintation. Apparently the receiver is rather weak immunity from interference from the computer.
Other: I really liked this GPS receiver. The more that local vendors are selling (trying to sell) these devices is 4-5 times more expensive.
