Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -very strong, need some strength to separate them.
- Does not break easily unlike those disc type.
- can wear it like a bracelet, nice!
Cons: - they are 6.5mm and not 6mm. (not like anyone cares)
- surface not as shinny as the real ones.
- careful do not place near any credit/ ATM cards!
Other: good buy, quite addictive to play with.
now i regret not buying the 100 pieces of these darn balls!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great strength for their size.
Single magnet can hold a lot compared to a normal refrigerator magnet.
Fun to play with when bored at work!
Cons: Wish there were a little bigger
Took a very long time to get them, but at least the shipping was free.
If you are looking to wear it as a bracelet, 20 will not be enough to fit around a wrist.
Other: If you want better than normal magnet, get these, and a lot of them, you can use them everywhere! Just don't expect to get them very soon.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: + Very strong magnets but quite easy to pull apart due to the spherical shape, but if you have a lot of them it won't be easy as it will increase the magnetic strength
+ I have been playing since receiving them; making a ring is the easiest as they will rotate to the correct polarity, or you can make a square with 1 ball each on the top and bottom and spin it - it will take some time to come to a stop
Cons: - It is very expensive for a pack of 20 tiny magnets, otherwise I would have bought more
- Bits of uncoated area left dark marks on my fingers and after playing it for sometime it left a smell on my hands, so it is better to wash your hands after handling them
- Closer look at the spheres surface show that they are not totally smooth
Other: If you don't mind paying so much for magnetic balls, buying lots of it to make cubes, patterns and shapes will help to kill your time and let your creativity flows.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very strong.
Smooth, hard to pinch yourself with them.
Surprisingly fun to mess around with.
They do work as rather thick spacers.
Cons: They're pretty difficult to coax into a cube shape if you're building a small one.
Other: Would make for fantastic experiments to demo to students if you could keep the kids from stealing them.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These are so cool!!! You can mess around with them into different shapes and designs.
They are quite strong, it takes quite a bit of force to break them apart from each other.
Unlike some other people's complaints, i find that all the 20 i received are the same size.
Shipping was reasonable, Left on June 22, came on July 3
Cons: The polarity of the magnets themselves hinders some of the shapes that you can make with them, but other than that they work fine.
I never actually realized how small 6mm really is.....this makes me reconsider getting the 3mm ones....
20 isn't enough to really do anything i just wanted to try them though to see if they were worth it
Other: Get them if you are looking for something to ammuse your time. 20 isn't enough to do much and isn't large enough to even make a bracelet out of.
But if you want some round magnets for a reasonable price, these fit the bill nicely
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Very shiny, mirror-like surface
- Fun to play with, stress relieving
Cons: - is NOT very strong
- does NOT form a cube
- Fairly weak strength, it crumples if you try to fold a sheet of magnets
- Does not do what the advertised "Neo Cube" does (the cube etc)
- Not the greatest price for value
Other: This is probably my first negative review, but yeah, it'd be a better idea to either save up for the original version, or buy something else.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Fun to play with, I wish I would have got a 100 pack, then I could do more stuff with them (maybe I will... hehe!)
- They are pretty strong for their size, and don't break very easily if you clack them together.
- They were well packaged in some bubble wrap, so they wouldn't stick to other stuff in the package or fall out easily.
Cons: - They are really quite small (it's hard to judge from the picture)
- For the price I am not very impressed, with the size they are it should be a 35 or 40 pack of them.
Other: They are cool, but I would recommend at least 60 of them if you want to play with them :)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -does everything you'd expect it to
-strong magnets
-fun to play with
-won't be able to put it down
-makes a cool bracelet(requires more than 20)
Cons: -a bit too pricey for what it is
-can't do much with only 20
-when playing for extended periods, finger tips may turn black like if you were playing with a pencil tip
-mine came with 1/220 that was irregular(not a perfect sphere)
Other: I found it hard to create a cube that was less than 4x4x4 so you might want to buy more than 20 if you wish do some cool things with it.

Pros: For some reason I'm addicted to buying Magnets now and I'm glad that DX is selling them.
Cons: Not as strong as some magnets however still pretty fun to use. Keep them away from your computer they can be very powerful.
Other: Buy them if you need something to stick to metal. I'm still trying to fill up space so I can hit the 500 word limit here let's try now. No that didn't work and it's five hundred characters not five hundred words.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: They were much stronger than i anticipated. I did not know that magnets are such good stress relievers. Played with them for hours hehe. Did not know they could be SO fun.
Cons: A bit pricy. At first i thought they would have been bigger. Now im already used to them. Some of the metal wears off quite easy.
Other: Price a little hight. Power = more than i expected. Very playfull. Keep away from monitors and tv-sets.
