NEW-X7 Cree XM-L T6 800lm 5-Mode White Light Zooming Flashlight - Black (1 x 18650 / 3 x AAA)

Pros: The focus mechanism is brilliant and very easy to use. Never had such an easy mechanism. Hope it will work after some time of use still. Very bright light and good built quality.

Cons: I don't believe this fashlight has 800 lumen. I think 400-500lm are rather the truth when I compare it to my other flashlights.

Other: This flashlight is worth the price. Good quality for 18$ compared to the other ones I already have. Recommended buy.

Pros: Good quality materials well crafted aluminum body. Smooth zooming operation. Good quality lens. Good quality emitter.

Cons: Wrist strap hole has very sharp edges, breaks the wrist strap fast. Mine broke after first day, I use keychain ring and karanbiner connector and its great. Regulator circuit only draws 1200 mA so 800lm is not even near, 400-450lm is closer the true output. Regulator should draw atleast 2500mA (actually even more) from the 18650 battery according to the overview, so that it could provide the emitter with 2500mA.

Other: If you are happy with 400-500lm it is a good product the way it is. If you expect to get the 800+lm get a new circuit with it, in example SKU: 162788 (2,8A), or with SKU: 106796 (2A). XM-L T6 emitter can handle up to 3000mA current and produces around 700lm with a 2000mA.

Pros: The overall build quality of this product is good. It's very robust build. it's powered by the cree led diode which has high brightness and a daylight/white color of the beam.

Cons: - There is no reflective focus inside the lamp where the cree diode is located. (It would it make even brighter is the reflective focus were installed) - When zooming to the maximum it should really zoom to a small dot of light, but instead it zooms to a rectangular form (the form of the cree diode) - it should really zoom to the round circle not the rectangular blob.

Other: Good quality for decent price.

Pros: A very nice finish with high quality materials. The brightness I would say is correctly listed, it's very bright. I like the alternative battery solution. The zoom feature is actually quite useful.

Cons: I really don't like all the modes, I wish it would only be on/off, or possibly 100%/50%/OFF. Other than that, which seems to be standard on these lights I'm afraid, I have nothing to complain about whatsoever.

Other: A high quality, affordable and very useful flashlight that would likely cost 5-10x as much at home (which in my case is Sweden). Thanks for a very nice product.

Pros: - Powerfull Cree emitter with 800lm max output, - bright white light, - flashlight uses 1*18650 or 3*AAA type buttery. - Adjustable light beam spot for far or near use (with zoom). - Good assembly. - Compact pocket size flashlight. - aluninium case.

Cons: 1. 5-mode not needed, I`d prefer 2- or 3-mode. 2. In far zoom spot is square but it`s not a big problem. 3. Not waterproof flashlight.

Other: Good flashlight for a good price. Buy one for every day use.
