What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: Can't say much, but it just fits allmost all soldering stations that are made in China. I have LionKing 852BD and this tip fits perfect on my ceramic heater of soldering iron. Build quality is good. Price - could it get lower? For free maybe/ No, it's perfect.
Cons: No cons, it fits, works, well built.
Other: Got all my soldering accessories from DX and I am happy to have found it. Keep on the good work!

Pros: None, really. Cheaply made.
Cons: Wasn't sure what a "standard" soldering iron was, but mine was not it! This is NOT THREADED, simply a smooth bore. A 5/32 drill bit (just under 0.4 mm) is a slightly loose slip fit - not tight enough to hold.
Other: Don't buy unless you know you have the soldering iron this was designed to fit.

Pros: Fits Aoyue (936/937 aoyue irons) soldering irons like genuine products. Tips look great, nice and sharp point
Cons: More information/specs would be nice, it is unsure what a ' standard ' soldering iron is. maybe a picture of the bottom to show the mounting options or a drawing with dimensions could be added. Bought this without being sure it would fit but was lucky.
Other: Great tip if you have the right soldering iron Has no threads, so probably only usable for soldering irons with ceramic heating element like 936/937 aoyue iron price is great, tips are nice and shiny same feel as the original products.

Pros: I originally purchased these tips for an iron I bought from DX a couple years ago. Now I have purchased a Hakko FX-888 and it seems that these tips fit it well. These tips last a long time if you keep them tinned!
Cons: If you do not keep these tips tinned and keep them on high heat for extended periods of time, they will oxidize to an unusable level. Keep them under 350C and tinned and they will last a while.
Other: I recommend these tips to keep around as spares.
