Nintendo DS Lite Portable Entertainment Console Limited Edition - Blue + Black (Refurbished)

Pros: It works fine, and it's okay for this price.

Cons: it is real but some parts are different. And the workmanship on the casing is lacking. The speakers are worse, the touch screen isn't glossy, the stylus is a bit to big, the power button is weird, the gba slot is a bit to small and the battery is not as good as the original one.

Other: It's fine, could be better... But it's really cheap. :) I ordered one more for my cousin :D

Pros: It is cheap!!! Works well. Well build. The metalic blue color is great.

Cons: The battery could be better. It works 5 to 7 hours for me.
The screen protector isn't of good quality, but it is for free.

Other: I'm very happy with the DS. Great buy. I'm thinking to order another one for my girlfriend.

Pros: Cheap (if you live outside of the US). Works like and looks like a new DS. Metalic blue (Cobolt) color looks awesome.

Cons: The parts look like genuine Nintendo parts. But the casing does not look like a genuine Nintendo case. The power button sort of sticks out a bit, the stylus is a bit loose. The battery included does not look like genuine (it’s a 3.7volt 1600mAh, where as original genuine one is 1000mAh, plus I don’t know what DealExtreme mean by “OEM”). And also, the speakers are not as loud as an original DS.

Other: It could be better, but it works and looks just like a normal DS Lite. So, if you live outside of US, i would recommend getting one of these instead of a new one, its way cheaper.

Pros: - It is a Nintendo DS, meaning you can ploay all the neat Nintendo software at the palm of your hands. - I don't have a non-refurbished to compare to, but the quality seems good to me. - A great deal for people from Brazil like me: here, a brand-new DS Lite costs at least 2.5 times the price of this refurbished unit, and we'll never know for sure if the ones we buy here aren't refurbished themselves, so, if the risk is inevitable, it's better to risk paying less money $$. =D

Cons: - Contrary to my other DS I bought here on DX, this one don't have dead pixels, and the battery lasts 2,5 hours instead of only 1 hour. - The battery charger that came included is an 120V model, that cannot be used here. I have to use the charger of my other DS. - Sometimes the DS fails to recognize the inserted Acekard, so I have to remove and re-insert to make it recognize. But once I get the "sweet spot", it will always recognize it unless I remove it.

Other: Even though it has some minor shortcomings, I've found this purchase worthwhile, because Brazillians like me buying at DX is always advantageous, beacuse we avoid our 60% taxes.

Pros: - Cheape console, You can use a RX chip and download many games to the console. - Is a genuine Nintendo Product - The quality is good, the video game have a good look. -

Pros: - Original Nintendo DS Lite - Refurbished parts seems to be original - Battery, in my case, last like the original DS ones - Screens are brighter, not like other cheaper ones found as replacement parts on Internet - Controls are perfect and work like a charm

Cons: - The case looks cheaper than the original. Anyway, the color and finish is very good.

Other: Totally recommendable console for gift or play around. Great sound, graphics and perfect refurbishment!.
