O-FLASH Ring Flash Adapter for Canon 580EX/580EX-II with 5D/40D/30D/20D/10D

Pros: Hello,
I own a 5D camera and 580EXII flash.
I already had some lens ring flash but was not really happy with them.
This O Ring is just giant and although you need room to carry it, it is some kind of light and really helps in proxy photos.

Cons: Really bigger than expected, just put it in your 580 EXii and thru your lense !
If you have a different camera/flash model, you would probably need to browse some other web site to be sure that this couple fits the O Ring you are ordering.

Other: After a few weeks, I am quite happy with this, it needs a bit of learnings as the lense couldn't be handled as usual bit meets my requirements more than expected.

Pros: Fits very well on my Olympus E-520 with FL-50R flash. First pictures look great with it.

Cons: I own it just one day and I think the material could be better quality. It seems it could break easily so would be great to have some cover for it. Original box is too big.

Other: If you have center of lens to flash center 170 mm go for it for this price!

Pros: This is a wonderful flash ring for the fraction of it's competitors price and it does the job quite well, the shadows are softened out and the light is much more even than with a bare flash. Fits on pretty much any flash.

Cons: The velcro strip must be attached really tightly else it might fall off. The plastic seems a bit brittle so I would watch out to not let it fall on the floor,but even if it does I think it wouldn't break,just fall apart a bit and even that could be fixed easily as it's simply built. The circle is not full,which would not have been a big deal to incorporate into the design but heck its 33 bucks. The blue sticker on it is ugly so I am compelled to paint it black or silver.

Other: Well this is a great thing for flash photography especially if you need to do some on-the-go shots, I believe it'd be great for shooting pics on parties and evening shows, where a beauty shot might be desirable but not always possible. Just watch out the velcro is tight.
