OBDII USB Car Diagnostic Cable - Black + Blue + Orange (DC 12V)

Pros: Good device. Build quality and materials is acceptable. Driver Installation is straightforward. Tested on cars, Successfully: Toyota Mazda Chevrolet

Cons: Daewoo Sens (K-line) not successfully. Freezes and loses touch with the computer.

Pros: It really works. Displays error code, reset it etc. I used it with Nissan Sentra 1999 and Nissan Maxima 2002. It displays also error codes, which don't light Check Engine indicator. USB cord is long enough to connect to notebook both on driver's seat and passenger seat.

Cons: 1. Bad contact in OBD2 plug. Sometimes I was forced to keep it with a hand.
2. Using this device I needed to reser it several times. I'm not sure if it is software or hardware bug.
3. Sofware has some bugs. Not all, but one of programs connected but said, that my car is not OBD2 complied, other wasn't able to connect. Other software worked nice and gave me all information and error codes.

Other: Good buy for it's money.

Pros: Work. Connect it to your computer and the car. CDs come in various programs and drivers to use it on windows.

Cons: In a opel vectra b of 1996 does not work, at least the programs that come with the cd. Some of them get to connect to the exchange but does not return the data entirely. The cable connects and gets the connection but not a good product for opel. You may work with some other software downloaded from the internet.

Other: The programs included on the CD are either demos or freeware. No payment is not included crack to activate it.

Pros: 1)It is easily established on the computer. 2)We will combine with the majority of cars. 3)Cheapness 4)compatible with all widespread programs of diagnostics (scanmaster - example) 5)The small size 6)Qualitative material from which the device is made

Cons: It is happy completely! In Russia the device costs 100 usd! And simply to consider an error in service ask 20$ (there is a device on DealExtreme so much)

Other: The program from a disk didn't use. To download the necessary program from the Internet not a problem.

Pros: Great tool for the money! Can’t go wrong for $20, it will detect your OBD II codes and clear it on vehicle 1998 or newer. It can do “real-time” data measurement such as speed, RPM, pedal position. Going to a shop to get your code checked and cleared normally cost $40-60, just checking your code or you’re friend’s code 3 times already paid off for this tool.

Cons: My disc came with software on it, but my friend’s CD did not come with any software or drivers. So it looks like it is a hit or miss in terms of software from the CD included. It is a CLONED ELM327 chipset therefore some aftermarket software will not work with this device.

Other: For $20, what’s there to think about? Equivalent tools normally cost $60+.

Pros: I am now able to scan my own codes and it works very well. comes with basic software and is easy to install.

Cons: the only con i can find is that the software is not fully functional due to it being trial only.

Other: i dunno about you but, for less than 25.00 bucks it is more than worth it to make the purchase. You do the math.....
$100.00 for a garage to scan it.
$15.00 of gas for a local parts stor to scan it.
$25.00 scan it when you want and as many times as you want.

Pros: -well assembled
-comes with a CD with some software and utilities on it.

Cons: -I have had some trouble getting the included software to work, and the software from other companies (mentioned in other reviews) no longer works with these cloned code readers.
-There is no documentation included.

Other: awesome value for the price, in spite of the software issues.

Cons: o tempo pra chegar as vezes é muito grande cerca de 35 dias (Brasil),os progamas q vem sao demos,tive que comprar por 100 dolares o pcm scam que por sinal é muito bom.

Pros: Easy to use, and compatible with Movi and Movi Pro, wich means you can use it directly on OSX, no need to connect it via a virtual machine. Took me 5 min to find a driver and erase my cars codes.
My software (movi) recognizes the chip as: ELM327 v1.4, don't know if cloned or not, but it works.

Cons: The disk does not include any useful software for windows nor OSX Drivers.
The second is not a big con, because you can download the driver from here: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Other: Could be cheaper but still is a good deal. You need a extra software, that means $50 - $120.
