Ocean-in-Room Relaxing Ocean Projector Speaker Pot (4*AA)

Pros: Quite well built - if you take in account that it is a China-made clone. Feels solid in your hand Powered by either 4 AA's or USB (AC power adapter and cables included). Got a hinged base so you can tilt it for a best projectig angle. Built-in mono speaker. Nice and soothing blue hue. VERY silent motor (that wiggles the inner lens).

Cons: At this price point, finishing could be a tad better. For instance, the blue top cover is attached to the body by simply 4 screws. The base hinge could be sturdier, which would allow more subtle inclination angles. Despite its built-in mono speaker and the volume controls, it does NOT generate music or white noite by itself - you have to provide it yourself.

Other: Although its price tag is somewhat high, compared to what we're used to see here on DX, the relative quality of its build and the overall usefullness makes the purchase worthwhile. I can recommend it for everybody interested.

Pros: Well I bought it for a baby room, it makes beautiful vision of an ocean with a pleasant dim illumination.
has an AC USB power which is great and can be used for many other uses.
has a speaker and comes with male to male 3.5mm jack so you can attach it to any MP3 player for music - mine was faulty.

Cons: the hinged base is very loose so it is definitely not usable - pitty.
My speaker is probably wired bad and every music device I plug to it sounds like a wierd beat, my friend's unit made a different noise.
the mechanism is made as unit of several LEDs moving in an orbit.
mine makes a little "click" in the end of the round it does, making the whole flowing ocean-like vision jump.
really irritating!!

Other: buy it for fun, don't expect a lot and you will enjoy it.

Pros: -The external build appears sturdy
-Internal assembly is not the best but also no the worse

Cons: -Mine came died
-After contacting the support and realize that will be a pain sending it back to DX and waiting for a replacement... then I decided to risk and open the box trying to fix... and I was successful in doing so.
The main problem was bad soldering

Other: perhaps, for a working device (without all the trouble I had) for $15 max, this might became a good deal.
In time.. I payed 22.50 and now it is 19... still no good deal

Pros: Very, very beautiful - an awesome present, certainly. The lights are very strong and can lighthen up all your 4 walls in your bedroom. Can be use as a music player Timer shut off in 1 hour - amazing! Simulate sea movement...so relaxing.

Cons: This is my 3rd product ordered: my other 2 ones broke in two or three weeks (the movement of the lights simple stop, static). If you expect to listen music, pay attention, the speaker quality is bad, volume is slow... The pilot red light of the charger, after the Projector turn off, is really, really strong (this is bad if you like a dark room for sleeping).

Other: Certainly, it´s a cool gift for you or your friends with a regular price. But I wish you luck to get good ones with lasts more then 3 weeks - besides I have one still working so far... :)

Pros: *Great idea of combining the night-time latern and recreational/meditational stuff
*The led is very bright and is visible even at evening time
*It creates romantical aura and if you gonna place some slow music, your girlfriend will love it for sure

Cons: *I didn't find how to use speaker, anyway, the cable is too short (like 30 cm) to attach it to my computer- the only option is small mp3 player that placed near
*The price is a bit high, but it's not an everyday tool, it's a gadget, remember it

Other: Unlike many gadgets, this one is not thrown away after a couple of weeks, when the 'wow' effect is over. It still stands in my room and still give me the nice feeling of chillin' ocean breeze
