OEM Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Rechargeable 0.5W 28-Lumen Mini LED Flashlight (Black)

Pros: This is a tiny little like that replaces the cigarette lighter in your car's dashboard which is great for non-smokers like me. The light is extremely solid and well made from anodized aluminum and shines a bright beam of light wherever it is pointed.
The brightness of this light is very similar to an ARC-AAA or PeakLED Matterhorn 3 LED flashlight.
The flashlight also has a dimmer red LED that indicates when it is charging.

Cons: It might not work in all cigarette lighters. This flashlight is just a tiny bit too small to fit securely in my cigarette outlet. If it doesn't fit securely it doesn't charge as well. I have solved this by wedging a bit of cardboard into the outlet for now, but a long term solution might be to put a black rubber O-ring around the light to make the diameter slightly larger.
There is no printing on this flashlight unlike the more expensive retail units. I don't care much about the company logo, but the retail unit has arrows that tell you to which way to turn the switch to turn the light on or set it to charge. The switch ahs 3 positions, On - Off - Charge. If the light is facing up, you turn the switch to the left to turn the light on and from the on position you turn it 2 clicks to the right to set the unit to charge. off is in the middle and the light will not charge in the off position.
Light output is noticably more blue than white but thats what you get with LEDs sometimes.

Other: Very solidly built with bright light output makes this a very handy flashlight to keep in your car. If you don't smoke this is practically a must-have item to replace that useless cigarette outlet.

Other: For the price this is a great emergency light for your car.
seen some complaints about blown fuses have had no problems.

Pros: - very good build quality - fits very well in the lighter socket of my honda civic - feels quite heavy and solid - bright led - good light spreading

Cons: - might be just a bit shorter, now it sticks out about 1cm - red charging led might have been a bit less bright, although it is already quite dim - it has a very little bit of tolerance (you can move it around just a little bit, so it could do with some kind of one size fits all compressible ring

Pros: it's a good little light to have in the car, in case of emergency, or just to rummage through the trunk for "lost valuables". it's small, and slips into the glove compartment without too much fuss. the red led for charging is handy, and i hope it uses a lithium battery so that it doesn't self-discharge when not in use.

Cons: the design of the plug-in part is elegant, but may not work for all cars/sockets. absolutely no instructions came with it - it would be nice to at least get a basic printed sheet pointing out the switch (twist switch is not very obvious), and charging instructions. (nicd, nimh, and li-ion all require different care and feeding.)

Other: good value.

Pros: I bought one of these around 5 months ago, and it still works great! It's very well built, metallic body, and everyone I showed it wants one. It's a must have if you don't smoke, since it may get you out of trouble on an electric car malfunction, as a regular flashlight ready everytime and whenever else needed!

Cons: It's a litle thinner than my Suzuki Sidekick lighter, so I had to bend the inside metal parts just a little bit insider in order to make it steady on place (watch out for short-circuiting your car! Turn if off before doing this). It also has a red light when charging, so if it annoys you just pull the flashlight back and it will turn the red light off. No big deal.

Other: It's a must have, at least for me it was.

Pros: Great flashlight to keep in everybody's car in case of emergency or just as usefull gadged. You will never loose it if you will have it in your cigarette lighter socket all the time.

Cons: Build quality is good, but I was expecting a little more "fixed" positions (charge/off/light). Its easy to turn the head of lighter, but i think a bit to easy. No "click" effect at all.

Other: I have used it one time at night when my tire gone flat. Its really bright in pitch dark. Maybe some magnetic side would be great to hold it on car's fender or roof.
I had to take it to my mouth to have both hands free - not the best look :)

Pros: Always there, easy to operate and reasonably cheap too. I don't think that there will be too many complaints from the people that I bought these for as gifts. Only why I didn't get them two.

Cons: They don't fit perfectly in all cigarette lighter sockets, but it's not as if they are going to cause the car to crash. That's why cigarette lighter appliances have springs on them anyway.

Other: I just hope that mine doesn't get stolen. My workmate has been eyeing mine off.

Other: If you do not smoke and travel at night it is a must have, but i´ll have to buy another equippment to double the capacity of the lighter socket to continue using the GPS while the light is charging.
Se você não fuma e costuma viajar à noite é algo que deve ter mas eu terei que comprar algum equipamento para duplicar a entrada do soquete do acendedor de cigarros para poder continuar usando o GPS enquanto a lanterna carrega sua bateria.

Pros: Provides the correct level of lighting for reading maps and searching for lost items. Good for seeing in short distances and good for being seen in medium to long distances.

Cons: It fits a bit small for my Lighter Socket. A surprising manufacture discussion, considering most vehicles uses a standardized size Cigarette Lighter Socket. I bended the metal “springs” to make it fit, but unfortunately this also changes the fit for all other devices.
The switching mechanism is not very good. Have to pull the ring slightly to feel the clicking.

Other: Makes a VERY GOOD convenience and SAFETY device.
Should have come standard on all vehicles!
A magnetized body would have made it infinitely more versatile.
There should have been a way to swap out the battery if needed.

Pros: so easy to use, just plug it in the cigarette lighter to charge, and it gives off a red glow, the to turn it on just twist the top. so useful when looking for stuff in the car and a good size to hold in your mouth if working with 2 hands on the engine or somthing :) 1 charges also lasts quite a longs time SO BRIGHT!!! BLINDING!

Cons: you might have to jigggle it about in the socket to get the red charging light to go on, in my car it is quite sensitive, but once its in the tigh position its ok
