Olympus Li-42B Compatible 3.7V 900mAh Battery Pack for Olympus IR-300/D630zoom + More

Pros: * Fits my Olympus MJU 725 Waterproof/Shockproof Camera perfectly.
* 900mAH, although I'm yet to put it on my meter, it is out performing my 3 year old originals.
* Charges just fine in the original Olympus charger.

Cons: * I wish I had seen these before I spent $50 /per battery on originals :(

Other: * Look, you are nuts if you think that these aren't great value for money, hell, you can get 10 for the price of the Olympus brand cell.

Pros: CHEAP!!! My girlfriend and I both have Olympus cameras that take this type of battery. My camera in particular seems to suck power on an unnatural level. I have been looking for a cheap alternative to buying Olympus brand batteries and here it is. Compared to my original, they seem to last just as long.

Cons: None that I can think of, though time will tell...

Other: If you own an Olympus camera, and it takes this battery, buy it, or buy a few it's definitely worth it.

Pros: This battery is the pinnacle of high quality no-brands. It is just like the original battery in my Olympus camera, at 10 less of the price. I look on other websites, and it went for $50! This charges and works well in the camera. Can pre-charged in the package so I could instantly try it out in my camera.

Cons: None at all. Maybe it could come in some hard plastic, but really, who cares. Not really a con at all

Other: Buy it now if your original battery is dead, or you just need a spare!

Pros: It worked perfectly, came already loaded, I just put in the machine and was already ready to photograph. Very cheap price for a battery so good. Very good. I recommend everyone to have a battery backup.If you need a spare battery, or even to replace the original. Buy, do not think two times.

Cons: The box came totally crushed, probably blame the post office. The delivery took a little over 1 month. Could be faster.

Other: Always have a backup battery in the hands for a walk, an event, do not miss any time. Always be prepared.

Pros: I use this kind of battery in an Olympus 3000 Tough.It's lliftime is the same as an original one. It works very well. Very cheap price for a battery so good. Pros: I hate being short of battery - so I bought five of those. Having extra batteries is of course a nice thing. I assume the price is fair, though I never checked other options.

Cons: I've just done a quick test, and I'm quite disappointed of the results:
I took an arbritrary battery from the heap, charged it, put the camera in a stable position, started video recording and just left the camera there. The new battery lasted for a 19 minutes. The original battery is specified to be 710 mAh, but lasted for 29 minutes, so if this can be said to be a "fair" test, and if the original battery really is 710 mAh, then the new battery is only 465 mAh.
I have two issues with this ... it's very bad when one cannot trust the specifications, and a 900 mAh battery is IMHO worth more than four times as much as a 465 mAh battery.

Other: It's nice to have lots of spare capacity - so I don't regret buying many of those batteries ... but it's very annoying if the capacity is overspecified.

Pros: I actually have two original batteries for my Olympus utough 3000, and bought this one as a spare, 'cos the camera wastes a lot of energy.
Tested this filming at HD and, if not better, the capacity is the same as the originals.

Cons: It's a little smaller than the originals, so when I try to take it of, the battery doesn't pop out the camera.
No problem, just use the nail to pull it.

Other: Don't think it. If you have one of the cameras compatible, buy a pair of this (or more) and you won't run out of energy so soon.

Pros: I bought one for my Olympus Camara Fe-190 and it works great. The duration seems to be the same than the original one.

Cons: The battery is a little bit shorter than the original so I need to add a little plastic piece on the back side to make it work.

Other: For this price it is the best solution so I have ordered another one to have in my pocket.
