ONDA V701 7.0" Capacitive Screen Android 4.0.3 Dual Core Tablet PC w/ Wi-Fi / HDMI / Camera - Black

Pros: I own the Samsung Galaxy S2. I didn't want a tablet with anything less than comparable, so a 1.5 Ghz and 1 gig ddr were a minimum. I know this is a starter tablet for me, but without all the phone systems running this tablet is a breeze and faster than I thought it would be. Touch screen isn't as responsive as my phone, it seems you need to touch above what you want, but didn't take long to get used to where to touch. It comes rooted and with a few installs I was able to delete all the apps DX installed in chinese. Play store works great. This is the same size as a kindle fire and you can use the kindle fire cases, but the buttons are in the wrong place, small issue.

Cons: SLOW, I mean SLOW to charge. And small battery. It takes forever to get charged and is used up quickly when wifi is on. I keep it plugged in if I am not using it, even in the car.

Other: Glad I got it.

Pros: - Fast CPU - all programs ran fine, even games - HDMI out is nice to have - Modern build of Android - Lots of storage space, plus took my microSD card just fine - Bright colourful screen - Battery seemed to last a long time, but WiFi definately drained it faster when activated

Cons: - Screen has very poor viewing angles: at anything but straight-on it got dark quickly - Touchscreen has poor sensitivity (compared to other smartphones and tablets I've used) - you sometimes had to touch it multiple times to register, and you could see that it wasn't 100% calibrated. For buttons/links on web pages it seemed I was always clicking in the wrong place - HDMI-out was a bit flakey: sometimes had to plug it in twice to register, and it would cause some video apps to crash (entire tablet would reboot) - HDMI-out had scaling problems: colours looked fine on the tablet, but were sometimes wrong onscreen, and often edges had red outlines to them

Other: Good for a personal video player (using the tablet screen) or ebooks, but not great for surfing or app use (where the touchscreen issues make it frustrating at times)

Pros: Good CPU speed for the price

Cons: Very Fragile screen, in the first drop resulted a little crack in the corner, in the second drop resulted a big crack in the middle of the screen. It`s still running, but not in the cracked area. There`s some issues about the sensibility and calibration, like posted by Nybble Works for 4h, recharges in 3h.

Other: For a second use tablet is perfect. I already bought another for my niece

Pros: 1. Big plus - fast work (Dual Core CPU). 2. The availability of such a HDMI port. 3. Weight gadget is very small. 4. Android-4.0.3. 5. Support 32GB SD Card. 6. 5-point capacitive touch screen. 7. 3.5mm earphone jack

Cons: 1. The big drawback is the quality of the screen. Looks dull by comparison to Samsung Tab. 2. No adapters (for Ext. USB), as in other models. 3. No 3G modem. 4. Small Resolution:800x480

Other: I do not regret buying.

Pros: This is a excellent item. Good price, good product and excellent machine! Who is looking for a special gift and day-by-day tablet to fun or work, its the best choice

Cons: I can't talk anything against this product, because I didnt have any kind of problem with this tablet.

Other: Best choice :) I bought 3 of this item and my friends loved this product and the quality. So now I will buy a lot of pieces to re-seller here in my city

Pros: Fast CPU (dual core 1.5GHz as advertised) 1Gb of RAM (as advertised) 8Gb of internal memory (appears as an external SD card) Mini HDMI connector enables connecting the tablet to an LCD/Plasma TV SD card slot for flash expansion

Cons: Only 1Gb of internal flash for applications (ok, you can transfer applications to the SD card) Screen is not IPS (ok for the price) Screen resolution is only 480x764 (according to Quick System Info Pro)

Other: It is a very nice tablet. Of course it is not a high end one, but for the price, I think it is far beyond my expectations.

Pros: Super fast. The apps flies in this tablet even when running multiple apps at the same time. A cool design makes it easy to handle and set up. The HDMI output is great to connect it to your TV and watch HD movies or series. The relation price/quality is awesome, 89 dollars and you have a cool fast tablet. You don't have to care about the brand, this tablet works better (and I tested it) than the ones of known brands that cost more than twice this one.

Cons: I can't find the touch calibration available in settings but it is very accurate, you just have to touch a few millimeters up the links, but you get used to it in minutes.

Other: You wont repent, just purchase it.

Pros: Works great, the video and animation are very fluid, loud speakers, and the reduced size makes it a very comfortable for use. its ideal for play games or internet surf on the bed...

Cons: On the factory firmware some apps don´t work properly (gmail, android chrome) the other thing is that the battery consumption is very quick. a full use of 4 o 5 hs kills it completely.

Other: Its a great tablet at a great price, for most users who don´t want to buy an ipad or a first class brand for the price, but wants similar (not equal) performance

Pros: Arrived in good order. Delivery time was fairly fast given time of year. Smooth responsive performance that blew away Samsung Galaxy tab in benchmarks. Was able to get and install official Jelly Bean firmware from the Onda website. Extremely loud and distortion free audio. Came with screen protector preinstalled.

Cons: The display is not as nice as other tablets in the same price range and it look washed out when brightness is increased. Poor viewing angle but at the price it's not IPS. Different responsiveness at various points on display. It's thicker than other tablets which makes it bulkier to store but also makes it easier to hold. Plastics of questionable quality

Other: At less than 100 dollars for a dual core tablet you really can't ask for more.

Pros: This might seem "simple" but I think is important; it comes fully charged, usally this kind of devices are half or less charge. 3D games are just perfect, very good graphics and game speed very fluid. Usb OTG is a very high pro, I order a case w/keyboard and works just fine. Smooth responsive performance and loud and distortion free audio.

Cons: Building case feels a bit cheap, yeah is plastic so not much to expect. Imho the backlight [of screen] is a bit faint, at room with light is very good but not at sunlight. Poor viewing angle but at the price it's not IPS. For some reason 2D games like running type an so gets laggy.

Other: If you know what your doing, and even if not, is very simple to root and delete the bloatware :P
