ONDA V711 7" IPS Touch Screen Android 4.0.3 Tablet PC w/ TF / Wi-Fi / HDMI - Silver (Dual Core)

Pros: This is a very good Tablet. The screen is great and the performance is better than a Galaxy S2 (quadrant test).

Cons: The startup takes a long time (about 65 sec), but after this is great.

Other: If you are a novice user the Onda Tablets can be a big headache, but otherwise is a great product.

Pros: fast processor, easy to install apps, touch screen very good sensitive

Cons: comes on chinese, the most apps can't be translated to english or another language. the user's manual comes on chinese

Other: I hope this tablet keep working for 3 years or more. After this period I think purchase a 3g model due don't ever have wi-fi Available everywhere.

Pros: Good building. Good general quality Very fast using two processors, best than Motorola.

Cons: Please be careful with this tablet. It comes with Android 4.0 and half of the applications in Chinese! You can access the store and play google is configured. I had to reinstall the firmware, and then from a Windows (only in English but you put a brick) install your android. It is very difficult for someone with no computer skills, hardware and flashing phones.

Other: To take in account for some people.

Pros: - thin and sleek - good display, clear and responsive - upgradeable to Android 4.1.1 (Ondas own release) - mini-usb for charging (can use the same charger as my smart phone uses) - very decent wi-fi range for a cheap unit!

Cons: Cant expect it to have in this price range, but no GPS and no 3G somewhat diminish what it can be used for out of the box. When i was about to upgrade android i had problems with Amlogicusbburningdriver for win7. Worked fine in windows xp!

Other: I've been looking on and off for a tablet the past 12 month, and before I ordered this one i was stuck between this Onda V711 and Google Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 would have given me double more performance (on paper at least) and GPS, but then again no slot for memory card. And that would also have been double up the price of this one. As i dont know how much use I will find for it, i decided to go for Onda, as they also have a good reputation for support. A big plus for the Onda is also the charging via the mini-usb port!

Pros: Light and well built, excellent on: screen brightness and resolution, touch responsiveness, CPU speed, battery life

Cons: Charging takes overnight, a bit pricey.

Other: An excellent purchase, well worth the extra dollars. I have another 1-core tablet, and frankly, this one is wayyyy better. I am sure prices have dropped a bit since.

Pros: - Low price compared to prices in Brazil. - Good quality. - Reasonable design. - Great performance, even in comparison with other brands using Benchmarks. - Video with great resolution.

Cons: - Average battery life, especially when used around the screen brightness. - System and preconfigured applications for Chinese language. - Product does not come with mini HDMI cable, which is required for video playback on TV.

Other: - Very good cost / benefit.

Pros: Wonderful tablet for the price. Very easy upgradeable and configurable. Quite powerful for it's class and doing prefect job. Smaller size makes it very handy and easy to handle or carry.

Cons: Would be better if battery was lasting longer. The tablet is very good and 4 hours battery life are so much not enough.

Other: The tablet is smaller but not less powerful and does the same job as bigger and more expensive ones and that makes it a perfect companion. Definitely recommended from my side!
