Outdoor Survival Blanket (210 x 160cm)

Pros: It is big enough to cover a person and also my tent´s floor.
It is very cheap and here in Deal Extreme it was the first time I saw it to be sold.

Cons: This mat has no brand at all. It just came in a plastic bag.
It looks like kind of fragile, so I open and close it very carefully.

Other: Depending on the use of it it may not be suitable. I just use it in Brazil so I don´t know if it works in extreme conditions.

Pros: It is big and you can cover adult person.
There are two different colours in each side one.
You can use it also as big reflection surface for taking attention of rescue team.

Cons: It seems to be fragile and just for one use. But I never use it jet.

Other: Could be very useful product in extreme hot or cold weather, specially if there is some injured person.

Pros: It is so light (less then 100g). It is so tiny in packed condition. You always can take it anywhere with you (hiking, nature walks, etc). It has nice colours: gold from the one side and silver from the others. It does what it is supposed to do.

Cons: It is not so pleasant and soft by touch as any cloth. I am afraid if it could be torn or damaged by any sharp object (it is still undamaged though).

Other: I definitely recommend you to buy it – it will help you in extraordinary situation.

But it can also be used to hold the temperature of other items, such as hot or frozen food if you wrap it into the blanket. The blanket is extremely thin and lightweight.

Cons: The blanket is somewhat thin and fragile, but that is the other side of it being small and lightweight.

Other: Extremely useful survival mat for different situations.

Pros: Good size when open, easily cover a human body comfortably and it is very portable when folded.

Cons: Not too easy to fold as it was delivered. Appears to rip easily.

Other: I do not have experience to say if it is better or worse than other survival blanket, but for the price, appers to worth the try especially for those who go camping or and do not want to spend a lot of space and weight with blankets.

Pros: It comes in a plastic bag. I figure I would keep it in there until it is needed. Hopefully never. It is very shiny and highly reflective. This is very inexpensive . It's a good size for one adult.

Other: I bought three. I think I will be buying more to give to friends and family. I'm keeping a couple in my hiking bag, in my car, in my house, maybe in my wallet! Well, it's a little big for the wallet.

Pros: Small, lightweight, and very shiny. Available in silver or gold. If you are truly desperate for a blanket then this will help. Generally I intend to keep 1 of 3 as a blanket but cut up the others for the reflective surface - to make a camp oven and sun reflector heater. And as a toy for the kids.

Cons: Yes it does work as a blanket but please don't expect it to save you from hypothermia if you get wet in winter! Useful in the most dire emergencies but only really useful if combined with a real blanket. The thin material will also tend to rip if you wrap it around you and sit on the ground or rock.

Other: If you have not any, buy one. Have it in your backpack, in your first aid kit (if it has not one), in your car, etc. It's not for everyday use, but for emergency. You get caught by dense rain - you can use it as improvised raincover, it helps warm you, it reflects sunlight and heat radiation, you can attract attention with this one because it is quite big and shiny. Buy, you do not know when you 'll need it.

Cons: None really. The gold color is not so good if you want to remain hidden but if you use this in an emergency you probably want to be found. A green one who'd be handy fore hunting stalking on pray.
