Service Mode Unbricker Battery for PSP 1000/Phat (1800mAh)

Pros: I received the led pandora battery 2 weeks after it shipped. I'm glad it didn't take longer. I was surprised it was fully charged. I own a version 1001 psp so i chose to buy the the phat battery. The instructions on the battery was good enough to understand. The led Pandora battery works perfectly as pandora and normal battery. My psp is now unbricked and working perfectly. I also unbricked my friends slim psp as well.

Cons: When i first placed the battery in my psp it got stuck. It was difficult to get it out. So before you place the battery in your psp use fine sand paper or a nail file to rub down (rub just a little not completely down) the 2 small protrusions on the bottom of the battery so that it doesn't get stuck like mine did.

Other: If you have a bricked psp get this battery and it can be used as an extra battery.

Pros: * Easy to use
* With this, i allways have a pandora with me to unbrick and downgrade my friends PSPs
* I also have a normal battery for when i dont want to unbrick PSPs
* Looks cool with crystal backplate since its white and not black
* Nice with quick 'mode change' by using the push button on the battery

Cons: * The instructions on the battery can be a bit hard to understand...

Other: I love this battery. My first pandora i did myself by using software. It worked pretty good, but after done unbricking i turned it back to a normal battery. This pre-made pandora battery has a touch button to instantly switch from normal to pandora battery which is really really usefull. When i dont need to use it for unbricking, i just use it as a normal battery. Not much to say than its an affordable solution that everybody should have.

Pros: Perfect choice as it can be used as both a pandora and a normal battery.

Cons: Lower capacity compared to a original battery, even though the same capacity is claimed.
Does not come in the packaging shown on the photos - just the battery in a plastic bag, dumped in a padded envelope.
DX took 3 weeks to ship this item!
Somethat expensive, one can get a pandora battery for $4 on ebay.

Other: It's a good batter. Get it, if your don't mind waiting a 4-8 weeks for it.

Pros: 1. Can be used to unbrick a bricked PSP.
2. Can add custom firmware to PSP-1000 & PSP-2000.
3. Can be used as a regular PSP battery
4. Has a battery indicator

-The blue LED battery indicator is neat
-Really simple to switch back and forth between normal and pandora
-Lasts longer than my other battery
-Looks nice in a white or tranparent case
-Fits psp 1k's perfectly unlike the other 1k battery I bought here.

Pros: - cheaper than similar products in Germany
- can be used as a battery, too (nevertheless I won't do so cause I've got an original Sony one which I'll go on using)
- looks damn cool, I like the white optic
- 100% working pandora battery, after many tries in vain (using ChickHEN etc.) I got custom firmware on my PSP using this battery, I'm so happy, thank you DX!

Cons: For me it was very difficult so use to be honest..
- the button you have to press in order to enable pandora mode has to be pressed very very hard, otherwise it doesn't work
- doesn't fit my PSP quite well (I'm using a FAT one; PSP 1000), the battery fell out often till I managed pressing it constantly while installing my CFW, additionally I had to press the battery on the top border in order to get the battery working (didn't touched the contacts inside the PSP)

Other: I think this cheap pandora battery is worth the stress of using it, the money it costs and the time you have to wait till it arrives. I'm happy that I bought it, cause pandora batterys are usually much more expensive.
Note: The battery took nearly 2 weeks to arrive, which is less than expected.

Pros: Owned for about 10 months ish now and have unbricked several PSP's with it , very easy to use but you need to understand how to create a MMS (Magic Memory stick) otherwise this item is useless except for using as normal battery.

Cons: It's a little fiddly to know when it's charged as it will occasionally freeze up on the XMB and the battery infomation in system settings may show external and no other infomation. Soultion turn off the psp leave it alone and wait till the light goes out. Dont attempt to use this battery when its not at 100% its likely not to work even in normal battery mode. you will end up with a black screen and nothing else.

Other: Great priced hybrid tool and 1800MAH battery but it's tempermental when it works it is really useful but its not its a nightmare.
Other problem is the legs on the body of the battery are a little to big they need filing down to fit correctly.

Pros: the price of a Pandora battery in Argentina is very expensive and this truth which is 3 times cheaper than those sold in my country. has a very useful and works great. is very easy to use do not need a magic memory awakening cemetery only version 8.
once used can function as a second normal battery.
has a very good design

Cons: The only drawback I found is that it fits very well would have to be a few millimeters larger but this is solved by tightening a bit the battery does not it take so flashing the psp with 3 minutes is a lot.

Other: in an excellent product at an incredible price

Pros: This is about the best Pandora battery I've ever seen, because of the hardware switch which enables you to use it as a regular battery too, without modifications. The LED indicator is also very useful.

Cons: One of the only cons is the battery capacity. Just like any other battery I've ever ordered online, the capacity is horrible. Thisone is just 'bad', not horrible, but I expected more of it, definitely because of the '1800mAh' in the title, stating the capacity is higher than an iPhone's battery (1450mAh). I can hardly play games for 20 minutes until I have to recharge with thisone.

Other: Buy it if you need to unbrick/'jailbreak' your PSP Phat (1000), it's a great product for this price, and does what it has to do.
