PAT-530 5.8GHz Wireless A/V STB Transmitter/Receiver with IR Signal Extension Wire Set (Blue)

Pros: this product is just amazing!, The receiver is around 12 m from the transmitter, in a different floor, through several walls and the image is not perfect, but much better than a normal aerial antenna.
I have not played a lot with the channels, but they seem to work as the quality varies a lot.
My internet and other appliances not seem to deteriorate while operating this frequencies.
Build quality is amazing
The IR transmitter is real responsive

Cons: When I use any remote control the image fades during the rays operation.
Under certain transmission images the image can deteriorate a little.
The image is not DVD quality.

Pros: really good product and it works as stated. i connected the trasnmitter to the cable box and the other to my tv upstais. there are severel walls in between them and it did well. if you are a person that likes your tv screen crystal clear, without any noises, do not purchase this. noice will happen as other electronics will interfere sometimes witht the signal. it works for me. i am not a real picky person about my images being crystl clear. i dont even have HD at my house.

Cons: for regular use it is awesome. kids will love this as you can put the chanel they want to watch from the cable box. the only bad thing is that you can not change the chanel. you both have to watch the same chanel.

Other: i promote this item. would buy again. works as expected. i have been a dx customer for a while and have to say that dx customer service is awesome!!! love dx! thank you dx for existing!!!

Pros: Really easy to make it work. In five minutes you are all set. Nice picture and sound quality. You can select some channels to avoid interference. Small in size.

Cons: When in use, the remote doesn't work when pointed directly to the digital TV set-top box. You have to power off the transmitter to use the remote. Still works when pointed to the receiver.

Other: Really good. Does what is supossed to be done. Once the remote issue is fixed, then I would say it's perfect

Pros: You can share all kind of media that have a RCA out port. It´s very easy to use and install. The remote control responses is perfect and don´t use another antenna. It´s really very small and beautiful. There are a lot of different channels to avoid interferences.

Cons: The signal is not so pure how I expected, but it´s ok. There are some interferences sometimes.

Other: In general it is a good product and do what it says.

Pros: Good option to not have to run cables, easy setup and installation. Remote control extender works great.

Cons: A little noise on the sound when activated remote control. Subject to external interference. Short transmission range, if the barriers range decreases dramatically.

Other: Good option to not have to run cables.

Pros: Easy to setup. Decent range (I got about 50 feet behind wall when noise started showing up.) My home setup has it at a distance of 15 feet behind one wall. So works noise-free IR works fine. no glitches seen so far Small device. Hides behind other equipment (Except Rx needs to be exposed if you want to use IR.)

Cons: IR sensor (in receiver unit) catches some interference from CFL lamps. Could be filtered better. I think it will keep transmitting on RF whenever it catches this interference. This has not affected IR performance for me though. One issue. After a short power outage, 2/4 times TV did not show any video. Power-cycling Rx recovers from that state. I am not sure if my TV is at fault or Rx. Rx should also have a IR sensor cable for people like me who want to keep everything inside cabinets.

Other: Product works fine. I recommend.

Pros: This AV T/R is very good! I never used something similar, and i'm surprising. Clear image, sound good, and very easy to install, simple plug'n play. Works very good, and in Brazil I not found any similar product.

Cons: Peoples blocking signal make interference and noise (too noise!). I have to change transmission channel to improve quality.

Other: I would reccomend to friends. This product is very good.

Pros: This product is very easy to install and use (just plug and play). Fulfills its purpose superbly. The range of transmission is decent (in my case,10 meters without appreciable distortion). The remote control extender works very good. Also the transmiter/receiver are small in size. The audio and video quality are pretty good.

Cons: Sometimes the picture get distorted, especially when receiving infrared signal in the receiver unit.

Other: Don't hesitate to buy it. Works as expected

Pros: Very easy to use! Even a child can make it work! Just plug the yellow, red and white cables to the yellow, red and white jacks! It works as expected, transmits TV signal in a distance of about 10 meters and through 2 walls and 1 door. I was afraid the remote control would not work, but it works just fine! No need to use the IR signal extension wire! Very quick response to the remote control, the same as being in front of the TV. In overall a very good product for a reasonable price!

Cons: It suffers a little bit from interference! When I press any button in the remote control, even the volume one, I see a small interference in the TV. Besides that, nothing else.

Other: 1 point of cable TV + this product equals 2 points of cable TV for the price of one!
