PC/Electronic Chassis Dust-Proof Filtering Mask (17.5cm Diagonal)

Pros: Fits 12 cm fans, fan holes exactly match up with filter holes.

Cons: overall size is 12.5 cm dia. just under 1 cm thick, check your available area before purchase. there are gaps caused by the holes slightly protruding (by approx 1mm) above the rest of the filter shroud. I removed them with a dremel type rotary tool, could be done with a knife if careful.

Other: excellent. cant get cheaper, does the job.

Pros: ---- It holds dust from getting in your computer, what is very good since its much easire to clean the filter than the computers motherboard.
---- It's easy to installl and holes match the holes in the fan.

Cons: ---- Its fugly and if you plan using it in a case-mod your probably going to ruin your design.
---- Very thick, could be a lot thinner.
---- blocks the air, the spaces between grills is very limited, could be a lot less restrictive.
---- Ugly, very ugly...

Other: ---- I woill ot buy it again, I made my own filter using hot glue and thin fabric.

Pros: Very easy to install, just use the same screw for the fan and thats it. Perfect for 12cm fans It does constrict the flow of air a bit, but on the long run it keeps your computer clean The filter is synthetic which makes it very easy to clean

Cons: In order to clean the filter you need to remove the fan, and open the filter case, which is not that easy. After you do all that, you can clean the filter which is easy but have to put verything back together

Other: If you are looking for a dust filter for your 12cm fan, this is your choice. The cheapest one out there and very effective.

Pros: This is a very simple addition to your case and will help you keep the inside very clean. You can remove the outer shell and easily clean the foam of any accumulated dust or hairs. Very useful for computers that are running all day long

Cons: It may be a bit difficult to remove the outer shell since it has some latches that you need to pry open from the inside. I mean, it is possible to do so, but i think on the long run the plastic is going to break from repeated attempts o opening the plastic shell

Other: i will buy more of these for my other computers.

Pros: Super cheap, it fits, it filters dust

Cons: plastice can be britle, be careful when installing
