Pros: - Used it to connect my PS3 and a normal computer screen, seems to work fine. - Quite good build quality. - Image quality is good, can't notice difference between this cable and the original PS3 one
Cons: if you have a 4:3 screen image will be expanded as PS3 only lets you set a 16:9 output resolution but i guess it's a PS3's con, not cable's
Other: Didn't try it on Wii. This cable worths the cost if it's what you need.

Pros: it just works perfect and allowed me to connect my PS3 to my old, but very high-end CRT monitor "Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB" providing great colors and overall picture quality. particularly on "Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB" with this cable i can choose between the following resolutions:
* 576p (either 4:3 or 16:9)
* 720p 16:9
* 1080i 16:9
it also allow me to select 1080p, but that mode seems is not compatible with my monitor.
Cons: only one and it's pure cosmetic issue rather than real "cons":
on the main cable audio jacks colors are swapped: "White" is Right and "Red" is Left audio channel instead the correct "White" for Left and "Red" for Right channel. also, they are swapped on the extension cable too and so at the end on 3.5" stereo plug the correct order is received. however, if you use only the main cable you need to keep that in mine and plug "White" jack of the cable to "Red" input of your received and "Red" jack of the cable to "White" input of your received. so, i guess you just better to check with special audio file with different Left and Right channel is the order you get is correct and otherwise swap the jacks. so, not really an issue, but it's good to mention it.
Other: i'm very pleased with what this cable offers and i can only recommend it as reliable way to connect your PS3 without using HDMI including connect it to LCD display or CRT monitor in high-definition resolution.

Pros: The cable seems well made, and sure is long enough for a product this cheap. It was really really easy to install and get running with the provided instructions. Image is good enough that i can enjoy playing.
Cons: * connectors could be gold plated. (not for this price though) * VGA male to male is really really fragile, i had to straighten out a few pins and i suppose it will break after a few plugs/unplugs. but its not a hassle to get another one for dirt cheap. * Even though the image is good enough, i could read some tiny texts which looked blurred, but typically this wont be a problem as i doubt i could read that text on a quality screen either.
Other: Great solution if you cant afford all the 100s of dollars for other solutions. really i have no idea why sony did not come out with a product similar to this...

Pros: It does what it says on the tin... mostly.
The picture quality is what you would expect, and the signal is reliable... if you have a compatible monitor.
Cons: BUYER BEWARE:
Wii VGA signal does not work with all monitors! I plugged it into one monitor and it would not process the signal. It said the VGA resolution was incorrect.
VGA pins were flimsy, and easily bent on insertion. I had to spend around 20 minutes bending them back into shape before I could plug it in.
Other: You get what you pay for.

Pros: Cables arrived in robust packaging, with clear instructions on back of package. Easy to install, I followed instructions for Wii and had no problem installing the cable. Build quality is sufficient for this type of product. The picture quality is great in comparison with my crt tv.
Cons: I'm using it with a philips monitor. Every few minutes, my monitor is black for a second. Not sure if it's a cable defect or a monitor problem, but it's a bit annoying.
Other: If you have a spare vga-monitor and want to connect it to your wii, order this cable.

Pros: Very cheap, & durable. Easy to hook up as long as you follow the instructions or Youtube instructional videos. Same item sold in Amazon or Ebay. This does come with the Headphone Jack (Red + White) so no need to buy another. Really recommend. (Haven't tried with the Wii*)
Cons: One thing is, you need to make sure what resolution your monitor can display. Mine was up to 720p and anymore than that, it began to show malfunctions on the VGA Monitor.
Other: If you know what you're doing, then do buy this as this will help you connect your (old) VGA monitor to your PS3 or Wii.

Pros: -Does what it says -I was able to connect the Wii and the Ps3 to an Acer LCD 17 inch display -Nice output quality -Wii also worked on my Sony Bravia HDTV flawless with this cable
Cons: -Ps3 gave me random blackouts, changing the output resolution didn't helped, only changed a bit the interval of the blackouts -Ps2 didn't worked at all, but it is more like a PS2 thing as I understand -Maybe a bit pricey. But still worth it
Other: Get it for a Wii, the Ps3 at least with my display didn't worked so I wouldn't recommend it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - good quality for the price - long cable, quite rare with cheap cables - nice packaging with a good protection - don't need any other adapter
Cons: - I can't use the 1080p resolution with my Iiyama E2475 (it's ok with a HDMi cable) - the image looks faded unlike a HDMi cable with bright colors
Other: - For the price you have a great product, only the faded colors are a flaw For PS3 user, if you used a HDMi before, don't forget to launch the console with it, and then switch to the VGA display.
