Pros: + One of the cheapest, but still quality, PCI-slot troubleshooters on the market
+ Very easy to use
+ Solid build quality, no bad soldering or anything like that
+ Same thing that ABIT had on their more expensive motherboards
Cons: Nothing
Other: Very cheap and nice motherboard PCI-slot troubleshooter. Got the package from DX, plugged it in, and voilá! Have also checked the error codes with the english manual that came with it, and no problems there.
A must have for every computer-nerd out there!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: * works even on new motherboards as long as they have an IDE port
* Easy to use, plug in, turn PC on, read code and check booklet.
* manual in english or quite close ;)
Cons: * display faces the bottom of the PC box so will need to tilt the Case to read properly
* a proptective case would be perfect.
Other: for this price anybody who ever had to diagnose a non booting PC should get it.

Pros: - Excellent Build, made of good materials and professional soldering done
- includes a semi English booklet explaining error codes
- diagnoses problems through PCI slot, and provides an error code excellently.
Cons: - Manual was pretty bad, not really good English, hard to understand
- One motherboard i had, it really didnt give me an answer
Other: Great price, just get it because it could come in handy some day!

Pros: + Nice clear 7 segment display + LEDs working perfectly + Helps you know which parts of the computer are not working. + Cheap + Works for a range of motherboards.
Cons: + When you put it in the computer, the display is directly downwards, so it might be hard to read.
Other: This is a very useful card that helped me figure out what was really wrong with my computer. It is really worth the few dollars it costs, because it might save you hours of debugging other places.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Price. Even if you never need to use it, it's only two and a half bucks! Great to keep around if you or a friend ever has a PC issue.
The manual itself is worth the purchase price, and has lots of PC diagnostic and troubleshooting information... useful even if you never plug in the diagnostic card.
Cons: Only useful for PCs that don't POST. Only works in standard PCI slots.
Other: Buy one and keep it around just in case you ever have a PC booting issue. For the cost of a happy meal, you have a useful tool that could save unnecessary troubleshooting and frustration.

Pros: Great little unit if your trying to figuar out why your mother board is not POSTing without having to try everything step by step,
Cons: The manual is abit confuesing untill you REALLY read it, but if you take your time and look , it's all there, mostly...
Other: All it all , it's worth it, if you are completely out of ideas on whats wrong with your mother board.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: small, compact, easy to plug in
Cons: Short so display is hard to read if other boards plugged in. Only 2 digit display so there is some lack of information. Can't be used on anything except desktops
Other: This was cheap so I haven't lost much and it may come in useful, but I need to get a mini-PCI slot one for laptops and maybe another with a remote display for ease of use and 6 digits for more complete information.

Pros: Works well with 2 motherboards. ASUS: K8N-E Deluxe, P5K-VM.
Cons: Don't show anything on generic motherboard. Brand: Phictronics. (Only dots on display, without any number or letter)
Other: Good! Price so great! Fast to ship! PS: Im in Brazil! I thought it's spend much more time to arrive here!!! I'm still in shock with this morning when it's already arrived. :)

Pros: This perfect little thing helped out quite a bit when my family's PC had a boot failure just last week! First it told me that the power supply was on it's last legs, then it alerted me to the CPU not being properly seated.
Cons: Code readout is facing down on most Motherboard layouts and I had to use my compact mirror to read it. Other than that it's great!
Other: For budding Computer techies this thing is a must!
