PCI 4-Digit PC Motherboard Repair/Troubleshoot/Diagnostic Card with Mobo Status LEDs

Pros: I was looking for a device like that for a long time. Here, they are really expensive. Now, I bought this one, for a really small price. I think its impossible to find another one with this features so cheap.
This device shows the 20 last bios code to help you to find a problem in a motherboard. You may “navigate” between this 20 codes.
There are 2 interfaces: Pci and paralel. If you use paralel, you should power it using USB connector (cable included).

Cons: Sometimes, this board gives some error code for good motherboards. Its a bit weird.
Display should be in the other side. If you put it in the last pci slot, its impossible to read it. You have to take the motherboard out of the case to test.
USB connector should be in the end of the board. If you try to power the tester using usb, connector will be in conflict with pc case. Again, you have to remove the motherboard to test it. Its not a big matter, because paralel is useful in laptops and there, you will not have this problem.
Of course, this device doesnt do any test using USB. Its just to power it when you use paralel interface.

Other: Very cheap to help fixing computers.

Pros: Very low price.
Comes with full English manual with error code translation.
Great build quality.
Ships in ESD-bag.
Supports both paralell-port and PCI.
Can be used on both on stationary computers and laptops with paralell-port.

Cons: No retail packaging.
The LED's should have been placed on the other side of the card. In small computer chassis you will have to take the mainboard out of the chassis to be able to see the LED's.

Other: A must-have tool if you are into PC-diagnostics. This is not a product for the beginner, you should have good knowledge of BIOS and the computer boot sequence (POST).

Pros: Acá en Rgentina es muy dificil conseguirlas, y si las conseguis son costosas.
Es una placa que cumple su funcion.
Es muy barata, posiblemente un 70 porciento mas barata que en Argentina.
La he probado en varias maquinas y me ha tirado su defecto.
Muy util la conexion Mediante puerto Paralelo.

Cons: No le encontre ninguna por ahora.
Estamos hablando de una placa de un precio muy bajo. No podemos pretender que venga con una extencion para colocar LED´s y ver los resultados mas comodamente.
Ni que venga con conexion ISA.

Other: Es Resumen estamos frente a una Tarjeta POST que puede sacarnos de muchos apuros y reducirnos tiempo en la busqueda del problema.
Recomendada para personas que quieren una pequeña herramienta en su trabajo.

Pros: The PCI 4-Digit PC Motherboard Repair/Troubleshoot/Diagnostic Card with Mobo Status LEDs is a very useful tool, especially for those in need. And I mean, that not everybody buys stuff like this. As a tool, it doesn't have a match..yet. And in my country..you don't find them on the streets, to say it like that.

Cons: It is kind of impossible to see the error code when it's conected on PCI slot, if you don't take the motherboard out of the case or if you don't use a mirror.

Other: I bought it, it's good and useful, it's worth much more than it is. Don't hesitate to take it.

Pros: * It is cheap.
* Work on almost everyone PC (seems like it work as full PCI supporting device)
* It has great build quality, so it isn't easy task to break it.
* Came with some mistakes in manual, but if you really need to diagnose somethink, you always can search for correct POST code description via internet.

Cons: * On PCB i found place for external indicator LED, it will be perfect, to sell model with external indicator...

Other: Don't want to fry your expensive professional post card? Get this for first time diagnostic

Pros: A placa realmente me impressionou, produto de ótima qualidade e faz o que diz, no dia em que recebi efetuei 2 testes com 2 placas mãe ruim e achei o defeito, muito rápido o diagnóstico, prescisa de pratica e atenção, o manual incluso tem tudo o que prescisa, muito bom e facil de usar.

Cons: Os 4 digitos poderiam ser do outro lado da placa, pois em algumas torres de desktops fica ruim visualizar os digitos.

Other: Espero encontrar novos lançamentos desse tipo de ferramenta.

Pros: -Excellent product.
-Great build.
-The manual is easy to read.

Cons: -The digits are hard to read, because are in the other side of the motherboard, you have to desmantle the Motherboard to read it.
-The 3rd. and 4rd. digit only display 00 or 01 for good or not, a bit useless.

Other: - Great product, buy it.
Es recomendable para todos los tecnicos que alguna vez luchamos con motherboards que no booteaban, hasta ahora me sirvio para diagnosticar sin problemas, y es bastante mas barato que cualquier producto similar en mi país (Argentina)

Pros: Has both PCI and LPT connectors!
Small handy size.
External leds may be soldered by user - will be perfect POST card ever.
Fantastic manual: not only all POST codes listed for 3 types of bioses (Award, AMI, Phoenix), but also present beep codes and 'omnipotent' passwords!

Cons: Despite really vast instruction, UP and DOWN buttons functionality has very limited description (said 'easily to use').
No details on 'debug' mode.

Other: Multifunctional smart POST card detector. Buy it to test motherboards!

Cons: Almost nothing, the build quality is great and for this price what else can u expect?
Casi nada, la calidad de fabricacion es exelente y por este precio que mas quieres?

Other: Need to buy another one, a friend of mine wanted to!

Pros: Good build quality, has all the necessary indicators and instruction with decoding codes.
You can browse through the received codes from beginning to end.
Tested on a set of motherboards, has never been a case that the card would not work.

Cons: As the description says that there is a beep in speaker, but I have never heard him.
Led located on the back, sometimes not convenient to watch codes. But this problem all the post cards.

Other: Good thing for their money, and it looks normal.
There are a string to test USB, it works, but I do not use it.
