Pros: Useful Inexpensive Come with enough tip set

Cons: A bit fragile You should not let it fall on the floor or it might broke (broke for sure)

Other: For this price I cant imagine buying something good and sturdy.. I bought very good things on DX... some came broken and they promptly sent a replacement. This one is functional still very fragile. I wont complain as it works... I just need to take a bit care to avoid dropping it

Pros: it works. the head is detachable, so works like a flashlight too. The lens is good.

Cons: it uses an incandescent bulb. As LEDs are so cheap, I expected it used one. Being an bulb, the battery wears off very fast. The plastic fells really cheap. Really fragile due to it's low quality. It's like those cheap chapsticks cap, that break every time. This will eventually crack once you screw it a little harder.

Other: It works great overall. Just have to be careful. Really. And it could really use a LED too.

Pros: It's certainly a cheap option for this type of instrument.

Cons: The light is off centre on not very bright. The focal point of the lens that you look for is very close to the end of the otoscope. This makes it quite dangerous when using it in your toddlers ears. Also the extra fitting don't stay on very well. When I tried the small aperture fitting it stayed in my daughters ear when I withdrew the otoscope.

Other: It had potential to be ok but the poor quality light and it being off centre, in conjunction with near focal point make it not so useful.

Pros: It really works It's awfully cheap

Cons: Light direction is unpredictable, needs to be "tuned" by rotating the handle part. Clumsy, plastic parts fit ok, but can be displaced when using. Not reliable, too weak for everyday use, won't stay very long.

Other: I find it useful. Good to have one in home medicine box. Professional tool is too expensive to buy just for fun or to keep in a box for years.

Pros: - Good quality material, hard plastic. - Very easy to use. - Fit just perfect in my pocket. I can carry it anywhere. - Good for specting ears and noses. - Can be used by normal people, nurses and doctors. - Very strong and safe. - Small size, very portable (It's just a little bigger than a pen. - Good price. Professional ones are so expensive. - AAA batteries included.

Cons: - Light should be a little brighter.

Other: I got more than i expected. Love it!

Pros: Good built quality, the material is good and doesn't feel too cheap. Good light intensity. Several sizes of the adapters.

Cons: The lens isn't too good. For those who understand let's just say it's enough to see some "cerumen" in the outer 2/3 of the external ear canal but the timpanic membrane is just too out of focus.

Other: Like I said the lens needs some improvement but lets face it, for this price one could not expect much better. You can see enough of the timpanic membrane to see if it is inflamated or not bu that is it, nothing less. As for foreign bodies ou cerumen in the ear canal you can see them perfectly.

Pros: Pen style Earcare Professional Otoscope Diagnostic set - Black, owned for a month now. Really good build and does what it must do. We purchased this because our little daughter had frequent ear problems. With this we could frequentlier checkup on her.

Pros: The set has a very bright light. It is also usable as a light without otoscope. Very cheap for an otoscope. The batteries (AAA) are included.

Cons: Doen't do what it is supposed to do. It doesn't focus on the eardrums, but in front of the eardrums. Ear hair is quite clear. On/off switch very fragile, sometimes unable to turn it off.

Other: I won't use it as a professional. I might use it for its light, but for that it's expensive.
