PIR Motion Activated White LED Night Light (4*AA)

Pros: Esta muy bien es muy buen producto funciona realmente bien, nada mas detectar una presencia se enciende y permanece encendida durante unos 12 segundos , tiene una distancia del sensor de unos 5 metros y tiene un angulo de 120 º, en definitiva muy buena compra y da una luz bastante buena durante el dia engaña la potencia de la luz pero por la noche ilumina bastante.

Cons: Que podria iluminar un poco mas , pero que vamos que ilumina muy muy bien y por el precio no se puede pedir mas, por decir algo en contra es que usa 4 pilas y podria usar menos.

Other: buen precio, buen producto, buena calidad. que mas se puede pedir, pon luz donde quieras y sin encender nada.

Pros: the good thing about this is, it is battery operated so you can put it anywhere. it has a led light which shoots wide and just enough light to not burn your eyes when it lights up. the angle on the sensor is basically as wide as the light pattern so where the light hits the sensor also does. the cool thing is about 12 seconds after lighting, the light fades out so you know its about to go out. i like better than if it just shuts off.
i put mines near the stairway so that at night when people get close the light turns on so they can see where the stairs are.

Cons: no bad things...well maybe the worst is figuring out where i want to put this for best performance.

Other: for the price and usage this thing is great. the only downside i have is not buying more, cause you could use these in a lot of places, like the garage, bathrooms, closets, stairways. and it only goes on during night time, cause it has a light sensor.

- A Nail hole so you could hang it on the wall.

Cons: Only can detect in small angle.

Auto, Only activated when the area is dim or no light. It will deactivated after 8 ~ 20 seconds.

Pros: - Extremely energy efficient(uses only one LED but VERY bright) - Uses 4 AA batteries, which means longer working life, without constantly having to open it up to change exhausted batteries - The set that I received has a internal timer of approximately 17 seconds of illuminating time before the light automatically starts to fade out, which I find is perfect for most situations - most PIR lights have too short an illuminating time duration and they don't even fade out, plunging you into darkness all of a sudden when the LED goes off. The ability to fade out gradually is really the star feature in this model. - Very wide angle of light. It is able to illuminate my entire room, thanks to the silver reflector. - The motion sensor is really very sensitive and able to easily detect my movements from 6 metres away infront of it. I suspect it can even detect movements from a distance further than 6 meters, although I have not tested that yet. - The single white LED bulb is unusually bright for a single LED. I'm not sure if it is a Nichia LED bulb, but it definitely is much brighter than the ones you find in most cheapo single-LED torches. - It has a mounting hole at the back of the unit for you to hang it on the wall(like how you hang a wall clock) - Build quality is very good. Once you put it your batteries, the unit will have a sturdy solid weight to it and that helps to make it very stable to place on most surfaces without fear of it falling over or anything like that.

Cons: - None. If I have to find fault with such an excellent PIR light at this price, I am being unreasonable.

Other: Look no further, this is undoubtedly the best single-LED PIR motion-activated light out there that is the most energy efficient and that probably also gives you the longest working lifespan from a set of 4AA battries(as stated by another reviewer below, whose unit lasted 18 months using low-discharge rechargeable battries).

Pros: One of my best purchases on DX. I had a constant problem of not wanting to turn on lights in the bathroom when going to drink water or what not, because the regular bathroom lights can feel absolutely blinding at night. This gadget solves the problem by lighting up whenever I open the door to a dark bathroom. It is bright enough to wash hands or brush teeth with, but not bright so that it will blind you. I also use another one in my grandma's room, so that when she gets up at night and can't find the light-switch, this still turns on and sheds some light around the room to make it easier for her to move around. Additionally the energy efficiency of this device is amazing. I use some pretty old worn-out rechargeable AA batteries in mine, which I imagine would discharge themselves in 6 months even if not used - and I still only need to recharge the batteries twice a year.

Cons: Can't really think of any.

Other: Couldn't be happier with it. If you're looking for a night light, this is the perfect choice.

Pros: Price include shipping is good Built quality Detect range in line with any other similar product or a bit better 10m in front of it 20-30s before it dims down which is good for my use (long enough).

Cons: Was expecting a higher power led(as seen as single LED, but this is a small led regulated with 100ohm, about 20mA. The one on pearl.fr is much brighter; it has total 18 LED at 100mA but at 10E+ shipping cost.

Other: ok if you like to mod it, has switch on-off-auto which is useful

Pros: Motion detection works perfectly. Real passive pyroelectric infrared detector inside! Low power consumption. Will not switch on when it is light, there is additional light sensor.

Cons: 20 mA LED is not enough for my purposes.
I heard that PIR detectors loose their sensitivity after several years.

Other: Don't know how long it will work with 4 AA alkaline batteries after my upgrade. Its a pity that i can't install 18650 Li-Ion batteries in this small box!

- Can use standard AA batteries
- Light is not too bright
- Lasts a long time
- The light slowly fades off

Cons: - Does not come with adhesive to stick to walls
- Would be good if you could set how long it stays on for but the setting is acceptable for our use

Other: Perfect for a night light where you don't want it to be too bright.

Pros: Very good product. With even old dry batteries its lights up my hall way after 6 months! always lights up before you starts searching in the dark to the light switch.

Cons: Non realy. Its just a wonderfull good designed product that does what it should do.
