Pixie 3-LED Hank-Crank Dynamo Battery-free 3-Mode LED Flashlight

Pros: Very bright leds. The brightness can be controlled. Textured handling on the sides of the flashlight body making it handy to have a decent grip. The size of the flashlight is a good compact size, not too big or small. Excellent price.

Cons: None. It fuctions as it should, yet I am unsure that the item is waterproof. If it is then great, but if not then that is the only con that can be said for a great product like this.

Other: Excellent price and is very practical for the home, camping, or an emergency.

Pros: Got it 2 weeks ago works great.
It got long battery time (1-3 hours depending on setting)
It recharges really fast when cranking.(steady cranking for 1-2 min is enough)

Cons: The only con I can think of is that the nob on the crank feels a bit loose. But if it snaps off I'll just glue it back on.

Other: Great lamp for the price. You should buy several because in a emergency several members of your family will need one.

Pros: The flashlight is surprisingly well-built. It leds are not as bright as some I've seen, but rival the light emitted by the snout of the well-known pig keychain light.

Cons: The manual says that one minute of cranking should give you approximately 20 minutes of operation. I have tested my flashlight, checking the time using a clock, and found that statemement not to be accurate, the ratio of cranking to working is 1 to 10 to 1 to 5 at best. After that, the bright light goes away and the leds remain dimly lit.
Also, I found the flashlight turned on by itself in my backpack on many occasions. Looks like the button can get pressed by the surrounding objects in a bag. It is not that bad, considering it is rechargable, but makes me feel less confident that I have a pre-charged unit on me.

Other: I'd love to have a means to check the charge of the energy storage (battery? super-capacitor?), just to know when to stop cranking.
