What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: Price: 73USD shipping included is a bargain for ppl not living in the US.
Size: 8" is rather small but just enough to be way better then my Trimersion Goggles.
Resolution: it is a 4/3 800*600 native resolution screen.
Blue Screen / Static: This LCD can handle a VERY weak signal but turns Blue when there is a complete signal Loss.
Cons: Power: 12 V DC IN - No Battery.

Pros: - Real 800x600 resolution. Accepts other pc resolutions with auto scaling down.
- Good enough to handle anagliph 3d viewing (with sku.41565)
- very good viewing angles and colors.
- it's the cheapest i've seen with highest (real) resolution.
- disassembly is very simple fot diy proyects. Inside components are few and small, it's mostly empty space inside.
- It's bright and the sound is not bad.
- When in VGA you can hear the sound from AV. (is either a pro or a con depending on how you see it).
- It remembers source/channel and settings after power loss.
- Unlike the pictures all my cables came in black!
Cons: - The description says PAL+SECAM-D/K I B/G, which led me to believe all PAL norms were accepted, but it's actually PAL D/K I B/G + SECAM. This is a problem for me since my country (Argentina) has PAL-N (air) or PAL-NC (cable). Odd enogh, when conecting thru AV pal-n is used correctly. I tried to chage the cable/air tunner but no replacemet was found (yet).
- It has only one speaker inside (despite the holes you see in the pictures), it's not stereo, and the board doesn't support adding another one.
- Only works plugged in. But since it's 12v 400ma making a "battery" for it shoudn't be hard.
Other: Dx screwed me with the description, but I should have researched more about tv norms BEFORE I bought it. Still no regreats, great product.

Pros: This screen has a native resolution of 800x600 and as such makes it quite usable for mobile PC work or CarPC. The screen has a surprisingly rigid build and looks as shown in the product pictures.
Cons: The packaging was banged up by the time it arrived (the usual DX forever shipping...) but the screen was in good condition so it wasn't a big deal. VGA port requires and (included) dongle cable. Not a huge deal but I'd prefer if it were on board. OSD Menu is in poor english, as expected.
Other: If you need a small VGA screen, this is by far the best price I've ever seen. The quality is good and it does what it says it will. Great purchase.

Pros: - Versatile: I can use it with my old computers (commodore plus4, c64 and others), hook my WDTV live on rgb and besides the sound on rca plugs. Also it can be an emergency pc monitor (but you can expect a little bit blurry picture). Last, but not least you can use it as traditional TV. - Decent quality picture, great colors. - I like the remote, it works well. - Very thin and light, easy to carry around.
Cons: -As monitor the picture is a little bit blurry. -You cant sort the tv channels.
Other: Its a great product, you definitely need it if you have vintage computers, or just want a kitchen tv!

Pros: Nice size, built reasonably well, the remote is cool. One of the reasons I purchased it is because it turns on automatically once plugged in.
Cons: Horrible video input quality, even on vga. The image is recognizable but looks no better than outputting on a CRT; fuzzy and distorted slightly. The on screen menus are crisp and clear which is a shame because you can tell the lcd is of good quality, only the inputs suck
Other: You get what you pay for....

Pros: - Works on VGA, to a degree - plenty of accessories
Cons: - very, very, fuzzy. - no specs about scan frequency, it does not scan well with my minimig amiga computer. - Only one speaker, other side is fake.
Other: A cheap display, but it's a gamble. Buy only if you are sure you can get some image out of the cheap quality LCD driver board.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap. It has RF, AV, component, vga, rca inputs. Small. Versatile. Remote control included.
Cons: Vga image is not very sharp, but usable. Only one speaker.
Other: If you need a small screen allowing to connect a lot of devices, and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is your choice.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Nice small TV & Monitor. Works excellent connected with cable to Analog antenna TV. It comes with many wires and accessories, it has all that you need to connect with nearly any device you want. It has satisfactory picture quality. The plus is that you can also connect it as a monitor, it has VGA Input. Good looking Remote.
Cons: Its price is too high for its picture quality and its technology. It could have a function to work as Digital TV, also it could have USB or SD reception/line out and function to play for example mpeg-4. It could have a more stable stand.
Other: A nice portable simple Analog TV Monitor.
