Pros: Just plug it into the cigarette lighter jack, plug into the headphone jack of you music device, then just set your car radio to the static frequency hardcoded on the device and you are all set, THe sound quality is pretty good and it can even charge device that use USB for charging.

Cons: There is nothing on the device that tells you what radio frequency it is set to transmit at, so in order to find out you have to put your radio through the set frequency ranges that are mentioned here on the forums

Other: If your car doesn't have an aux jack you can either get one of these or one of the cassette adapters, but for the price of this and the ease of use I would recommend this to anyone.

Pros: Its really easy to use, you just take it out of the box, pug to your car and your MP3 (3.5mm plug), tune your car radio to the frequency emited (you have 4 to choose) and listen your MP3 you you car stereo

Cons: The button to change the frequency is hard to understand what frequency is selected. althoug you car radio will detect it imediatlly.
    The cable could be longer.

Other: there are other choices of FM Transmitters, but I don't feel the need to change the radio frequency or to have a digital LCD in it... as long as it transmittes and is really portable, its enough

Pros: Right off the bat, no batteries. I've had similar devices that used batteries in the past, and I'm not a fan at all. I've gone through a number of ways to hook a mp3 player to a car, after having to revert to my stock deck, I decided this route was my choice. I like it. Decent cord length

Cons: The switch has 4 possible positions it can 'stop' on. I didn't really find a happy stopping point for the middle 2, however I was able to tune it in. In my area, all the stations it uses have something one them currently. Even the local one was bansihed in favour of my music. Mine uses different stations then listed.

Other: A good purchase to fit the bill. Now I can listen to my mp3 player in that car. Really shines on those long drives. For just going around town, getting some take-out, just support a good local radio station.

Pros: Cheap, does what it's supposed to do, I use it in combination with sku.13165 on my iphone. Worked from the moment I plugged it in.

Cons: There is a bit of clicking and cracking noise until tuned properly (some frequencies work better than others) but maybe thats because of iphone GSM signal. The volume is a bit on the low side (maybe problem with iphone headphones out)

Other: Good way of getting mp3 player music into your car. Overall, didn't have any problems with it, except for the low volume, but that can be problem of my music source.

  • Amazing Product!

Pros: This is my 3rd time buying this. This is just amazing if you dont want to listen to the radio and commercials anymore. Just plug it in, and set it to the channel/frequency you want with the switch. Then change the actual deck/radio on your car to the same frequency. Plug and play.

Cons: It can be very loose at times. and the sound quality is neutral.

Other: Great gift for family and friends.

  • FM-Transmitter works fine

Pros: The product is very easy to use: Just plug'n play the music. If you think about, that the fun will last longer than a day like a cigarette pack, you can easily afford it, because it costs less than a cigarette pack.
A pro argument for me is also, that you don't need batteries. The Signal is strong a the quality of music is good.

Cons: A negative point is, that the cable to the 3,5 Jack is too short [~40 cm?]

    Other: Good product, works fine

  • Simple to use. Does its job.

posted by Hateshinai on 02:14:41 G3T 27/03/2009 certificated customer

Pros: Very simple to use. The price is fantastic. Build quality is decent. Long wire. 3.5mm jack fits most mp3 players. Simple and cheap way to listen to your mp3s in the car.

Cons: Volume is quite low. Sound quality is not brilliant. Sliding switch is a pain if you want to select one of the middle frequencies.

Other: I showed it to some friends and now they are all buying one.

    Pros: very easy to use

powered by the car electric output

Cons: transmits the audio with low volume, so that you have to increase the volume of the radio, which is bad because you hear the buzz and when there are other radio stations on the frequency, you hear them

    you can't select the frequency.

    Other: buy it. it's cheap

Pros: - Price - Just plug and use - Transmitted sound quality is not great, but better than expected

Cons: - Frequency switch is too lose - Transmitted sound volume a bit too low - If stereo in your car is high-end, then sound quality will seem terrible

Other: For this price this is the best solution for listening your mp3s in your car! I deffinetely recommend this gadget!

  • Works great with Ipod Shuffle

posted by tractiongrips on 00:47:52 G10T 14/10/2009 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Cheap, no batteries to replace. Broadcasts with more power than my Sirius receiver that gets walked on all of the time. Plugs directly into the Ipod Shuffle with no static or noticeable sounds degradation.

    Cons: haven't found any

Other: If you have any need for a modulator, just buy it! I'm buying more for gifts too.
