Playstation 2 PS2 to Wii/NGC GameCube Controller Adapter

Pros: tested with PSOne controller and works great.

currently using it on my wii to play virtual console games, Super smash bros Brawl and gamecube games

Cons: due to the gamecube's r button having two buttons (half push and full push) it is'nt possible t use this with super mario sunshine as you are unable to use the water cannon

Other: cheap and works, why not get it?

Worked well... I tested both with my ps2 controller and a wii and it went well. Here in Brazil the prices are beyond the R$40 (20 bucks) for a similar one... So the price is very well too. The quality isn't the better one, but it's cool.

Funcionou bem... Testei ambos com meu controle de ps2 e um wii e foi tudo bem. Aqui no Brasil os preços costumam estar além dos 40 reais por um produto similar, logo o preço está ótimo. A qualidade não é a melhor, mas não deixa a desejar, também.

The problems I realize are the sensitivity of the R and L buttons (R1, R2, L1 and L2) that weren't very well, but worked, and the analogic command that doesn't work as it should, at least with the game I tested (Pokemon Colosseum).

Pros: Para quem gosta do bom e velho controle do PS2, é uma escolha impecável, realmente muito útil, já não aguentava mais aquele controle Torto do Gamecube para jogar games de luta, agora posso jogar grandes games com meu controle arcade, é muito mais diversão por muito menos custo!

Cons: Para mim não há contras, grande qualidade do produto!

Other: Uma ótima compra, recomendo a todos, cumpre o prometido, não é uma propaganda enganosa como alguns produtos aqui na DX! Detalhe: Adaptador super discreto, nada extravagante, na cor preta!

Pros: -allows you to use your PS2 Pad on the Wii or Gamecube -well yeah that's pretty much it

Cons: -does NOT work with two Arcade Sticks i tested, the Hori Real Arcade Pro 2 and some cheap other one -from reading the forums it seems to be incompatible with dance mats as well

Other: get it if you want to play with your plain PS2 pad, but don't if you plan to use special periphery.

Pros: - Works with Mario Kart Wii. Its great! - Works with virtual console, including NES, the D-Pad is great and its a lot more confortable then the wii remote. - Works with the PS2 controller - Works with my wii - is black, like the cord on the controller - isn't bulky - is cheap. really cheap. Seen similar online for up to 4x the price, more bulky, less practical.

Cons: - Doesn't work with most wii titles - Doesn't work with most Wii downloaded games - Doesn't connect to the Wii Remote - Doesn't work without a playstation controller - Requires a Wii or Gamecube, otherwise it is useless

Other: It really is cheaper then most other similar product out there. If you have a PS controller, you should get it.

Pros: I needed a gamecube controller for my wii, and I don't want to buy a gamecube controller, and I have a ps2 controller, so I bought this and it worked.

Cons: The only thing is I am not too sure about how the shoulder buttons work, I don't know which button is for which. Other than that, there is not much more cons on this item.

Other: Get this if you are like me that don't want to spend a lot of money buying the gamecube controller and you have a ps2 controller. It is a great adapter, if you don't have an extra gamecube controller

Pros: The pros are it really does work and cheap price for what it is and good built and quality and no problems. . . .

Cons: The cons are at first win you use it you have to find out what the bottens are and on a GC controler the R and L bottens have a slide thang on them PS2 controlers don't have that so you can't play games like super Mario sunshine

Other: Buy it if you want a cheap priced cool adapter to play ps2 on wii or gamecube

Pros: A classic game controller was more expensive than this adapter. With having 2 PS2 controllers unused lying in my drawer, I decided to buy one of these adapters.

Cons: The only con is that the PS2 controller is not 100% compatible with the Wii. Some buttons (shoulder buttons) remain unused. An instruction paper might solve the confusion though.

Other: Buy his if you don't want to spend that much money for a new controller. (Assuming you already possess a PS2 controller)

Pros: If you already have a Playstation controller and new a gamecube one for Gamecube or Wii that's really what you need. Just plug the controller on the adapter and play nicely. Well made connectors.

Cons: Maybe you can have problems on button mapping, but it's easily solved on mapping buttons on game options. The cable is short, so it may require extensions (easily sold here on Deal Extreme), especially if you area using Wii, since the ports stay on top of the console.

Other: No bottom thought. It's a nice adapter if that's what you need.

Pros: I bought this originally for my dancemat yet it seems to not work with my brand dancemat [dance factory]
But it works perfectly I occasionally use it with my ps2 controller.
And it beats having to buy a new controller [wich is far more expensive.] whenever you have people over who want to play.

Cons: I bought this to use my ps2 dancemat on the wii.
When I plugged it in I was eager to play my game..yet it didnt work.
So I found out it doesnt work the dance factory dancemat.
Yet it works perfectly on a controller.

Other: Find yourself wished for an extra controller for when friends come over?
But dont want to buy an expensive new controller.
Buy this one and use your trusty old ps2 controller.
