Pros: - Lets me connect my tablet and phone to my older TV. - Great picture quality. - Easy to use. Just plug in and go. - External power not needed. - Extra USB cable for power, if needed, is included. - Small enough to hide away when not in use. - Plastic construction is fairly solid.

Cons: - A bit more than I would like to spend, but is still less expensive than all the others out there.

Other: Great product if you want to play music or videos from newer tablets and cell phones on stereos and older TVs that do not have HDMI inputs.

Pros: Converts all your digital signal (HDMI) into Analog (TV AV). Have tested on Galaxy S3,S2, iPhone 4S, iPad, all working. Good for projecting image into your old TV.

Cons: No AV or HDMI cable provided. Need additional power to boast signal. When connected to MHL (HDMI) to this device, the volume is very low (with or without additional power). When connected to iPad/iPhone HDMI connector to this device, everything is ok, need extra power to boost signal.

Other: If you have a pure HDMI output device (i.e. media box) and want to project to your old TV, this would have worked perfectly with less cabling and hussle. That being said, most of the media boxes nowadays would have both HDMI and AV connection, and most TVs would have HDMI and AV as well...do we still need it?

Cons: - Look cheap packaging. - Don't have HDMI and, AV cable in box. -

Other: - This product is smaller, easier, cheaper in market. PS. - Postage packaging very weak. Please make it stronger.

Pros: Straightforward installation LED indicator USB power socket Great output on screen

Cons: The power socket needs a high power input - the USB output of some devices will not do (The LED will be on, but no screen output)

Other: I do recommend this to any user with an old TV set that needs to display the video output of new devices (some have only HDMI - which is problematic...). Just make sure you connect this to a REAL power output - not to the USB socket of your player/streamer/TV up-grader...
