What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: This handheld features a very clear display with backlight. It allows playing about 45 classic NES/Famicom games. The case feels solid. The cartridge port could be used to add more games, however I don't know if there are carts available somewhere. I'll look into building my own one. The 3" TFT screen is big enough to play the games. I think the 2.7" screen usually found on such devices could be a bit small. The lithium battery is charged from the USB port on the back. It should last for long. Sound quality on the internal speaker is good. The cart I got has a nice menu showing a preview of hte selected game in a small window. Since the name of the game isn't always right, this is an useful feature.
Cons: The device looks a bit cheap, even if the plastic is thick. The case shape is maybe part of that, but it's nothing to worry about. The buttons use a cheap method of soldering a metal cap on the PCB. I fear this will not last long on intensive gaming use. The sound on the headphones is very LOUD, and you can hear a lot of amplifier noise. Some of the games are hacked to replace some sprites as usual with Famiclones, some have unlimited lifes or whatever cheats. It would be nice to be able to disable these. Also, some games are in japanese version which is not so good for me.
Other: It's sad that this doesn't come with more games or the ability to get extra carts. Otherwise, it's worth buying if you're into playing these NES and Famicom games.

Pros: - Clear and great screen with backlight. - Includes classic NES/Famicon games - AV-out support - Price
Cons: - Plastic feeling of the console - Feeling of the buttons - Game cartridge works sometimes, sometimes you need to repeat ON/OFF unless it gets working - The sound: When using only console, you will hear some buzzy noise from the speaker, but when you use AV-out, it will be solved - Built-in games and the cartridge includes over 30-40 games and they repeats on the menu. - AV-out cable should be a little bit longer
Other: It is great for NES/Famicon players.
