Polarized Glare-Guard TAC Alloy Frame Sunglasses with UV400 UV Protection

Pros: I was very surprise when I open up the pouch... the quality of this pair of sunglass is simply great!!! I have an oval face and this glass fits me very well. The shapes suit me well and I use it on my daily driving. I bring it to my uncle who ownes a optical shop and he checked on the glass and told me that the lens are cheaper version of polorized lens or what he call, "linear polorized" lens. Some of the more expensive sunglasses are using "circular polorized" lens and doesnt have the "darkening" effect even if u turn it 90 deg in front of the TV screen. The polorized effect is very obvious especially if you look at the glass/ water reflection. This make this pair of sunglasses perfect for driving/ fishing.

Cons: The pouch that comes with the sunglass is very poor quality soft pouch. the brand, "Hong Lang" was printed on the pouch which makes the whole thing feels very cheapskate. In fact, I dont undestand why SKU: 21765 which is sold below $5 can comes with a sporty hard pouch where this set of sunglass which is around 3 x more expensive only somes with a low quality pouch. As usual, the brand "hong Lang" printed on the glass could be scratch off using fingernail easily. For those who doesnt want people keep asking you what brand is that. Simply remove it yourself. It could be done within 3 mins just with your fingernail.

Other: Its a good buy and I would recomend it to the rest of my friend. 1st time user may feel weird when using it as some colours may looks weird with the polorized effect, for instand, light blue car under the noon sunslight may looks a bit purple at certain angle but what the heck! its polorized lens and it did what it should do! I may get a few more pairs and of the same brand to try out.

Pros: Tested with a "polarized" test stripe, and I could read it. So it is polarized.
Tested in an optic with an UV measure machine (385 nm - 0%).
An optician told that it is 100% UV resistant. (-400nm)

Cons: Nothing special yet.
Maybe that it has a green look when you see through the glasses.

Other: You will get what you pay for. Cheap and good.

Pros: Product very good indeed. I was amazed, more than I expected, dark green lens, stylish. I went and checked in a perspective, it really is 100% UV and polarized. It was worth it.

Cons: The stem has small screws that sometimes pull hair, and a little uncomfortable, however, seek a protective leather, this will resolve. I think only.

Na haste, tem pequenos parafusos que as vezes puxam o cabelo, e incomoda um pouco, porem, procure uma proteção de couro, isso resolverá. Acho que só.

Other: Good product as a gift to a friend or relative. But, the bag should be best for this price.

Pros: Very comfortable right out of the box. They fit my head snugly, but not tight, and they're very lightweight. They also cut out glare without making everything overly dark, and colors don't seem to be off. The curved lenses don't seem to distort the view either, which is impressive at this price. All in all, they should be great for what I bought them for, outdoor activities like biking, walking, etc. The padded case and cleaning cloth are nice touches.

Cons: The frame is a little stiff to open and close. They may loosen up over time. I'm not sure how scratch resistant the lenses are, hopefully I don't find out. They're a little pricier than a lot of sunglasses on DX, but they do seem to be nicer than a lot of them too.

Other: I'm happy with them. I may buy another pair, or a similar Hong Lang pair later on.

Pros: Great built quality, great lenses. I received it in more than 3 weeks but it's worth waiting for. I use it during driving. it highly enhances my vision thanks to the polarisation. I use it even if the weather gets a little dark since it lets me see the details much better than without glasses. Lightweight, you don't feel it when you wear it. Even the cloth that comes with it is from a good quality. I'd buy the same again if I needed to.

Cons: Nothing big, only when you open or close the temples, there is a strange feeling of the spring. Not very smooth but still OK.
I whish the bridge was located a bit higher so that it was aligned with the upper part of the frame, I thought it was. So it doesn't have a very sexy look.

Other: I will buy more honglang glasses

Pros: Very nice, comfortable glasses that are properly polarized with nice optics, and have an actual anti-reflective coating on the INSIDE of the lenses! I haven't seen this on any of my DX sunglasses so far, and it makes the glasses look more upmarket. I haven't tested whether it actually works, yet. ;) The hard case is very nice, and the microfibre cloth that comes with them is decently thick and soft. Much nicer than the flimsy black soft case and tissue paper-thin cloth that usually comes with these Hong Lang glasses. Seems like they have updated their lineup recently. Spring hinges, rubber nosepads, comfortable plastic arm covers that don't look like they'll fall off in a week. And, as always, you can scratch off the lens logo with your fingernail in about 5sec. ;)

Cons: Nothing stands out to me right off the bat. This may change as I wear them more, but first impressions are good. I maybe would have liked the springiness in the hinges to be stronger, as they don't fit super tight around my head, but I guess that can be said of almost all spring hinges. When you fold the arms closed, they touch the inside of the lens, which will probably wear through the anti-reflective coating over time. However, I slightly bent the frame between the lenses to tighten them up, and they now rest on the edges of the frames. The branding on the case is a little ugly, but that's personal preference.

Other: Bottom line? Buy them. You won't be disappointed. I told myself when I ordered these that they would be the last Hong Lang glasses I would purchase, but now I am rethinking this decision. If they continue with the increased quality and added value accessories, I would definitely try some different styles *hint...* in the future.

Pros: Nothing much to say great Buy for the price and can be used in semi dark places and still be able to see. Steel frame makes it more sturdy than those plastic frames. THe carring Case is sturdy and has a semi hard shell so protects the glasses well when not in use.

Cons: Carring case is a little too bulky for it to fit in pant pockets; but fits great in backpacks

Other: Best buy for you money. You cannot go wrong. I am going to buy more for gifts and to keep extra

Pros: Comes in good hardened case! Nice, since the package was damaged, but the casing protected the glasses perfectly. Solid legs and firm hinges, not easy to bend nor break. Good adjustable nose studs. Good polarization, not darkening but good filtering. Clamps on your skull above the ears and stays very well in place even if your move your head fast or stand up-side-down!

Cons: no build in blue-ray player :-) No other cons found yet

Other: Quality glasses for single-use pricing...

Pros: Good build quality.Looks solid. A bit rough joints as I own high quality specs, believe me they are few steps back from extra HQ, but for the price it's excellent.You'll get a nice case for them to keep. Here the same sunglasses have a double price. Doesn't look outdated as from your grandmas drawer.Won't make you any shame. Have fun.

Cons: A bit too dark for me, but in extensive sunlight should be o.k. Anyway I'm satisfied with purchase.
