Police 7.2V 10M Waterproof Xenon Flashlight

Pros: nice how it's water proof, good solid construction, works well

Cons: very hungry xenon bulb compared to a cree led. It will sink if you drop it in the water.

Other: Very good torch for the price.

Pros: Reasonably bright, although not as bright as some Cree LED torches I have. Torch is very heavy and solid. Really does look very expensive. Even though it's small, it feels like you could cosh someone quite effectively with this!

Cons: Biggest problem is the fact that the beam is very ringy. There's a complete deadspot around the centre of the beam and the focus can't be adjusted to compensate. With rechargable CR123As in, the twisty action activates quite far out. I'm not sure how waterproof it would be with these in.

Other: As an ordinary everyday torch that is quite bright, then I guess I can recommend this for the price, but it's not top-drawer. Best aspect of it is its build quality - it's solid and well made.

Pros: *Heavy (which i like) & very solid construction. Feels great in your fist!
*Good colour temperature, works well with human eyes.
*No 'rattles' when you shake it.

Cons: * No Lanyard! - vital accessory on a waterproof torch!
* Plastic reflector cone (much prefer textured aluminium)
* Plastic lens cover (needs to be glass!)
* CR123A Batteries can be expensive.

Other: Excellent torch for the price - one of the cheaper ones on this site. Awesome finish. Heavy feels quality. Not really suitable for using in water without a lanyard, despite being 10m WP. Good to know it's waterproof though - that tsunami is never really expected.
