Pros: LOTS of cable maybe 4m? Reaches from the front of a sedan to the back.
The third ultra fast flash sequence is very quick around the same as an upmarket unit which I was very surprised with (I have a different model with older flash controller and the flashes were slow, this one is twice as good).
Comes with ample power cable as well, maybe a couple feet worth.
The LED are BRIGHT. The blue more so than the red but let just say there is no way you could look into them directly when flashing. If anything its too bright, but we all know that's never an option with LED's ;)
It's hard to measure the power usage of them, the most I read off the multimeter at the LED end was 10V so its possibly just passing the 12V straight to each LED segment which is fine, it appears each segment is setup to accept 10-12V each with there resistor. I think the resistors are 75ohm for the red and something else for the blue's. The most I got was 100mA per segment, so at most I'd hazard a guess at 4-500mA all up?
You can plug in the segments in whatever order of 4 you like (remembering that its a 2/2 flashing system).
Cons: One of my cables came wired backwards (two wires) but as they are only LED's they don't damage it, and I simply removed the plugs from the cable and swapped them around the correct way.
The quality isn't that great, once I opened each segment a wire popped off but as I'm going to re-solder it with different LED's that's not an issue.
Other: Perfect for emergency vehicles on the cheap.

Pros: Well The price is obviously the best pro for this item...The lights come with ample wiring and the fact that the controller has an attention grabbing "quad flash" pattern make these bright little lights a bargain.
Cons: The led unit itself has a large diameter hole in the back for the wires to pass through making the units unsuitable for mounting outside of a vehicle as is. This is easily remedied with some silcone or similar epoxy to seal it.
Other: Great buy...you won't find anything like this cheaper on the net...I've tried.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap product,
easy to install and operate
Very effective at night time
Cons: Cheap product,
some light from the flashers intrude your vision during night time, sealing it with some black isolation tape will ease, but won't eliminate.
After 1 day of use, one of the strobes stopped working, but when I've swapped the cables have found the the fault is the control box.
Not useful during day time.
Other: Cheap, easy to install and effective for night time.

Pros: -The control box is small, approximately 2x2x.5. - The Led's are actually larger than I expected, the units are the size of a BIC lighter. I expected even smaller led diodes. - The red lights are bright - 3 separate flashing modes - Comes with lots of cable
Cons: -Not bright at all during the day, you can see the red...barely. -The red led's are much brighter than the blue ones. - almost to much cable - have to wire for 12volt power yourself
Other: They serve their purpose as stroboscopic red and blue lights. Have to make your own power supply could be interesting, especially if you don't plan to use them in a car. Their only good in the dark. Cheap.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - They are small, which makes them easy to hide away.
- They are actually brighter then I expected them to be.
- There is a LOT of cable, so they can be put in the grill, and controlled from the dash.
- All the parts are there, including the screws and mounts.
- The price is REALLY good, as a set of these from Federal Signal,or Whelen, would cost 200$ or more.
Cons: - The wires from the control box to the power source are a little, short, but can easily fixed with some more wire and electrical tape.
- They are slightly smaller then I expected them to be.
Other: - The price is absolutley awesome, and they are well worth the price. If your looking for a small set of strobe lights, then these are definatly what you want!

Pros: i put these on my scooter and: - the lights are small - the lights are very bright even if there are only three leds in each light, in daylight u see them too - the control box is very small so it's nice to put away somewhere - very long cable, too long for me but good for in a car - the flashin patterns are cool
Cons: - it aren't the most brightest things you've ever seen - they are not completely waterresistent, so don't throw them in a glas of water ( i think they can handle rain because i have them on the exterior and still working) - when you switch them on you have to select the pattern of flashing before they work(no memory function) - they don't comein completely blue :-(
Other: DX has a good product for a great price
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - fun product
- bright lights
- easy to mount
- not to big(so no one wil see the control panel
- the tape you'll get sucks but its with allmost every product like this
Cons: no cons
not yet
Other: its a lot of fun. you should watch the police. but its great
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: pros: - very nice product - good light - can be seen from a distance - small and compact - not hard to assemble and operate - good price for what you get
Cons: cons: - the extension cords are not long enough - only screws no vacuum stickers
Other: Bottom line it is worth every penny you pay for it, very good product at this value.

Pros: Really like this product. Especially bescause you can order multiple sets and only use the blue leds! Build quality of this product is good. I will put this lights in the grill of my Volkswagen and connect it from the battery to the control panel in the car. The control panel is very small so you can stick it in the car where ever you want without some to notice it.
Cons: The wire from the battery to the control panel is not that long. So you might need to extend it, be carefull, if you don't know how to do it DON'T! it might harm your electrical circuit.
Other: If you are looking for some cool police lights order this product!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I like the controller the lights glow very nice and bright, and have amazing depth. i wired it so it has a strobing underglow to my car, and replaced the reds with more blues. it looks very nice. easy to install.
Cons: there is no way to just turn them on, like not flashing or strobing, just, on. thats a turn off. the sticker on the controller is pealing :P
Other: Great, worth the price, because professional lighting can be a horrible thing to deal with and can be quite pricy.
