I really like this pocket microscope. It has scale markings from 0 to 1 mm in increments of 0.05 mm. It is excellent for looking at small things outside (I found bugs in some moss and lichen that were too small to see with the naked eye) and it is cool to see the textures of everyday objects up close. It is similar to microscopes I used in engineering labs for Brinell material hardness testing.

Cons: Battery cover feels like the threads are stripped, but it stays in fine.

Other: Good buy.

Pros: It is really 2mm field view. Each division is 1mm, but sub-division is 0.05mm. Not very precise, vary with focus around 10%. Good illuminations (white or ultra-violet).

Cons: The lens is not clean, there is many black points of the poor glass, but image is good. And a worst thing, I HATE INVERTED LENS. When you move to left, image runs to right, do not use for inspections, it doesn't works.

Other: This is a very good toy, not professional but interesting. You can do measurement of 0.1mm or 0.025mm with 10%, not bad. My little niece will love it.
