Pros: This scale looks great. It comes with protective cling film attached to the shiny bits around the buttons. It has a built in protective cover (the clear plastic) and uses two AAA batteries so it will probably not run out of juice for a year, given my experience with similar scales using one AAA battery.

Cons: It's only a .1gram scale, so if you need it for more precise measurements, it will not be sufficient.

Other: There are no cons to this scale at this pricepoint. It is easily a $20 value.

* It measures to 1 decimal place (though if you wanted a moe precise scale that would be a downside)
* It's attractive
* The protective cover keeps it in good working order
* It's easy to use and the instructions are in good, clear English

Pros: It has various functions (piece counterm different units, tare) and a back light that you can turn on and off.
It comes with a pair of AAA batteries, so you can use it immediately. They are easy to insert.
It is easy to use, the instructions are fairly well written and easy to use.
Has a good build quality, doesn't seem flimsy.

Cons: It seems it can only be calibrated with 500g weight. So you need one to calibrate it.

Other: I recommend this as a cheap, handy scale.

Cons: very low build quality: my unit had the calibration button shorted on the PCB, so I had to take it apart and fix it (soldering point was making short circuit). so initially I always ended up in calibration mode...
Can only be calibrated with 500g weight (DX should get these in stock).

Other: cheap but ok. If you have to take it apart, be careful with the hinges (I broke one).

Pros: -This item is easily worth many times the price, and I have seen a near identical one cost almost 8 times as much, so really this cant be beat
-It comes with batteries, and AAA are easy to find in any shop. No searching for hard to find oddly-sized cells.
-As far as accuracy goes, it works well right out of the box. Tested it with various coins, and it always got within 0.1g of the real weight.
-Easy to use, instructions are clear and well written. Short, but to the point.
-Backlight is great
-Its small enough to fit into a pocket, about the size of an iphone.
-Build quality seems very good

Cons: -This scale needs to be set on a flat stable surface, not the palm of your hand, or the weight can be out by as much as 0.5g or more.
-It is addictive, you may find yourself weighing everything you come across, and attracting weird looks from people.

Other: Nice set of scales. Very useful.

Other: - Price should be cheaper but it's still a good buy.

Pros: I found that this scale is remarkably well built. It is of course made of plastic, but has a solid feel to it. The tray seems to be steel or similar metal.
I like that the scale has a protective cover that protects the tray and the display from accidental bumps or from other objects.
The display is backlit, looks great when it's on and is very easy to read.
Accuracy is good. I tested it with mint coins and it always reported the very precise weigth.
Comes with a nice package and instructions, but I haven't read them because the scale is already intuitive to use. The batteries to operate the scale, which are in the AAA format, are included in the box.

Cons: It does what I bought it for, so I have no problems with it.

Other: Another very nice object for a cheap price, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Have been using for my Ebay business, but is fun to just walk around the house and weigh stuff haha;)

Cons: The only one con with this is that the silver plate between the buttons came scratched. I think someone elses comment said that, so I think it is probably just a minor manufacturers issue.

Other: The price could be slightly lower, but still the best buy and the quality was very impressive for the price. All buttons work, and it even has a back light!!

- Already calibrated when it comes, no need to calibrate it and purchase weights.
- Has a nice protective plastic case which is foldable.
- Can use different measurement units such as grams and oz's.
- Great scale, it can even weigh my nails, it has great precision!

Cons: - None, really.

Other: You get batteries with it, or atleast that's what I got, so it's ready to use right out of the package and the fact that it's already calibrated makes it soooo worth to purchase. Go for it, it's a snatch!
